  1. I want ugg boots!!!

DO you have any cheap offers!?!?!

  2. Why are you creating 2 threads on this? You wont receive help faster by spamming.
  3. But you know how to use google, right? G-o-o-g-l-e. There are 3 popular OS's: Linux, Macintosh and Windows. Which one? If you don't know your java then go to Control Panel -> Uninstall Programs and see on the list what java you have installed. The latest Launcher version is 2.0.0.253, it's better to get the latest than to hold on to something old. I hear this entire forum is filled with computer freaks! Eeeek!
  4. Operating system? 64 bit doesn't tell us much. Launcher version 1.0.4? I'm running 253, are you sure you're running the latest technic launcher? What bit is your java?
  5. It pays off reading the stickies with their "ancient knowledge".
  6. Please google operating system.
  7. From optifine's site: Technic has permission for every other mod they spotlight here, except this one
  8. Pigs will fly and mermaids be discovered before any MCforums mod dev would give any tutorial for how to make their mods work with tekkit. Sad fact I tried installing 1.5.2 optifine with hexxit. Didn't seem to work the manual way... I'm gonna try this magic launcher when I have the time. Don't hold your breath...
  9. I don't understand what you are saying. You want to play Tekkit, but only Galacticraft? That's just one mod. If you don't want 72 or 74 mods you can try to delete them from the mods folder inside Tekkit folder inside .technic But I'm unsure if the game will crash on you if you do that, that's why I suggested you install the mod yourself on a clean minecraft OR you can install optifine, which can help reduce lag. You are really confusing me, when you're saying that you WANT to play tekkit, but with only 1 mod
  10. And? You just said you wanted to remove 72 mods. You didn't want tekkit, you wanted 3 mods.
  11. uhm... You could probably just download said mods and install it yourself on a unmodded minecraft. Would be simpler than deleting a huge amount of mods and getting errors.
  12. I don't know if they are open sourced mods. But what would prevent you from looking at their source code anyway. As for how to do it... Shit, I'm a complete noob at this! I'm struggling to make a mod myself and I'm fumbling in the dark. I would have suggested MCP, but as for how... no clue.
  13. You can always crack open IC2 and thermal expansion and see how the mod devs made their machines work.
  14. This is not a Technic problem, it is a problem with you and Mojang. Go to Mojang's customer support for help Tip: if you can't log in through the Minecraft vanilla launcher, then you haven't bought the game and are using a cracked version.
  15. Mod makers market is about discussing how to create mods You want Encyclopedia Technica section for that question. You neglected to tell which OS you have. Windows, Linux and Mac has different pathways Windows is: %appdata% -> .roaming -> .technic -> the modpack you intend to install the mod ->bin
  16. Try this link.
  17. This is the probably the worst guide there is. Why even bother downloading a modpack from the get-go if you advice people to delete the content and download more modpacks to fill the empty hole? Like spilling milk from a bottle, buying a few more bottles to add to that spilled bottle to refill it... People could get more valuable info from Lukeb27's thread than yours, to be honest.
  18. Take a look at this thread, if it helps.
  19. Information please. Operating system? You don't install anything. You download and click on it to launch. If you chose the .jar file then right click and choose "open as" with java.
  20. Link to modpack? perhaps someone can point out your problem
  21. Depends on the mods, if they add more mobs or worldgen structures or anything that can cause more loading time which equals lag. Not everything can be taken care of by Optifine. I suspect that the plus++ pack by SA forums has way more than 180... But do I think it's too much? Hell no! If they fit whatever theme you desire, then keep it or add more
  22. Do you have Java?
  23. Of all the stuff shown here, the only words that truly caught my eyes was "secured dino enclosure" <--- dino fanboy That place definitly needs an underground dino playground. And a conveyor belt chuffing villagers to feed a T-Rex I've always dreamt of a wall dividing Velociraptors and Dilophosaurus's apart, with a gate between that the player could open to enjoy the incoming bloodfest. /endfantasyrant That aside, this project of yours is truly amazing. Not sure why you have a picture from Rapture farms? another minor inspiration?
  24. A link to your modpack? Perhaps someone will try it out and see if they succeed.
  25. Why do you think Technic went with the old black & white Disney theme? Classic is on 1.2.5 MC. All mods are in that old version. As for your problem, I don't know. Try posting on either Technic Launcher Bug or Tekkit Classic Bug section. Reading the stickied threads will tell which you should post in to receive proper help. Platform Pagoda is about managing custom modpacks.
