There's no minimum age, and we have a pretty diverse crowd. People from about 12 to 46, from a number of different countries (I'm 27 and located in Eastern US). I look for maturity in the application and general attitude of the people applying to determine if I think they should be allowed on. I check for ban history in a few databases and match it to what the person put down on their application. I typically err on the side of allowing people on, and email them to ask them more about odd things. We utilize anti-grief plugins and block logging plugins, so if anyone turns out to be a bad player, they get banned and whatever they did gets fixed. We also make backups in case anything serious happens. 

I just wanted to let new players know this is an awesome server to play on. My favorite. The Staff are the best. The players are nice and follow the rules. The server doesn't lag. Come and join us.

We are looking to expand our community and add players! Our AotBT server offers grief prevention and economy plug-ins, allowing you to trade for items or in-game currency while allowing you to build without fear of griefers. Players of all ages are welcome, but immaturity and rule-breaking won't be tolerated. Stealing or abusive behavior will get you banned, and no one wants that! 
 
Our servers are hosted on a dedicated server to give the best performance, near-perfect up-time, and flexibility.

We have 3 different servers at the moment, with a 4th being decided on:
Attack of the B-Team, Crack Pack, and Vanilla Minecraft (latest snapshot). 
AotBT and Vanilla worlds are recently reset!

Yup! I'm running an upgrade on the server right now, and it might take a little longer than expected to get back up. It should help give us a performance increase, especially if we end up expanding more.
 
As for the map reset, it's really going to be for the best. It will take care of bugs that have been causing people to not be able to play. I can cut the affected chunks out, but there's no way to save what they have built. 
To give you guys an idea of what I did to try to fix the chunks: I saved the chunk as a schematic in MCedit, then removed and regenerated the chunks. I tried both placing the schematic into the chunk, and leaving the chunk untouched, but it still caused a crash when entering the chunk. These chunk errors have been cropping up in a lot of places, and it simply isn't feasible to constantly move people from the chunks, or block out the chunks to prevent people from getting into them. We have an actual, technical need for a reset. It sucks to have to lose the builds we've made, but it really isn't going to be so bad when you can keep all of your items. It's just a matter of rebuilding. Poj still plays. He and TrueCyan build in the same area, so they're both not able to get online. The problem isn't limited to them, either. It can happen to anyone who happens to wander into a bad chunk. (BTW, the chunk errors are not related to mobs. Some of them I know are related to the BoP mod generating structures that have glitched, and others I have not been able to definitively say what the cause is. Maybe related, maybe not). Trust me, we'll all be a lot better off once we reset.

I've been talking to the hosting provider, and almost all of their servers are still down. I'm keeping a close eye on the status, and I'll post here when it is back up. They say they are hoping to have everything back up today, but until they're back up there's nothing I can do either. Sorry!

The issue here is that you are using a VPS, resources are shared across clients so you will never be guranteed CPU time (also hertz =/= preformance)
