Sidenote, if you're a codejockey looking to help with a future Survival based modpack, very very Survival based, that isn't another Agrarian Skies lookalike, throw me a PM.
 
 I am having minor compatibility trouble with a couple things, mostly Mo Creatures' Custom Spawner glitching mob and animal and mod creatures spawns in Biomes O Plenty despite careful config adjustments across each mod. It would help if I could get a second opinion in case of derp or someone who can point in the right direction.
 
The modpack? I intend it to pick up the torch for where Life in the Woods and its clones come short, and you realize that save file isn't interesting anymore. With so much more to do and as minimal machines as possible. Way too much machine reliance everywhere.
 
For multiplayer it emphasizes community cooperation, and I've had so many times where I wish I was running my save as a server for friends to join and enjoy it with me. So far I have it pretty open-ended for every playing style; lots of configurable goodies for people's tastes. A few ways to adjust the Survival experience to a "YOU'RE GONNA DIE" challenge, because Minecraft needs more Survival challenge! It's a survival game. Tell me that and the creative building aspect isn't what drew you to the game? hahaha

So... How does one change the topic tags and title of a forum post, here? When initially making our server post in accordance with the rules I had to include the version number in the title. Just updated our B-Team server to 12a so I need to change it.

There's no way to not look like an @ss in posting something like this, but I'd rather not have people fretting over it.
 
To give everyone peace of mind, all previous posters that have been accepted have been contacted. If you haven't, it isn't personal nor is it judgemental.
 
It's not one person's opinion in your way. We have a voting system among us, where we narrow candidates and get the final verdict asking our active players who they think might be happy around us... So far we tend to be just out of the teenage age bracket somewhere and we have a couple middle age players (who are pretty cool) too. Most of us play in the evenings EST, and we have a couple on in the mornings. We're not all in the American timezones, in case that answers your question.

Three staff easily contactable via Skype. Don't let this scare you but we run on donations--surplus goes toward a RAM upgrade. 'Cause B-Team's a hog. A bit of pocket change from a few players will pay the bills. We want the community to own the server as much as we do so this is our way of including everyone. We're not going to force you to donate. That's your decision. If you like this community enough to help keep the server going, we're grateful. For a lot of us, this is our place to relax after work or classes. No mods banned. Ever. Just getting that out there.​ Disclaimer: Minions is straight up bugged. (Cheaty anyway. ) Crayfish furniture is occasionally buggy in the crashing kind of persuasion, or very rarely imprisons+boots all who enter the area in the Vortex of corrupt chunk(s). Also, putting nonvanilla items in the Oven is bad juju. Each of these has caused major 1-fps lag or crashes for us before. Use at your own risk.

Community has a say in everything. Server exists because we just want to play the dang game and chill with people. The founders are a group of random folks that survived bad management and the usual crap, a couple deaths of servers later we came together to say hey, we don't have to put up with this. Pooling our skills together we've become a round table of sorts. Still, we play legit Survival alongside everybody else, even the owner ahem, 'cause that's what we wanted.
 
So that's what we did. We decided on something we're calling the power of the community. That is, our community has the power as a group to tell us they don't like this one guy who has boundary issues or spams or whatever, and we'll act on it if we haven't already. (Can't stand immatures.) Even if they're a friend of a staff member. We're serious about all this. This is our little haven. We hope to shelter other people that want the same things too. Connor, Max, and I want to hang with folks and play the game. If this isn't exactly what you want, there are many other servers out there.
 
 
Hopes for the future:
At the time of posting, we're a small group right now, friends and friends of friends and people we met on failing servers, but we want a lot more players. We know there's more people out there like us. We intend to keep this a small "ish" server though. Just enough players to be on regularly. We've agreed that further along the line we want to let the active community have a say in if we want more or not. One of the things we don't miss from servers of yore is the chat box spam from 50 other people that you have no way of getting to know. We're avoiding that. Also, some of our players are already giving us ideas about little server events, and that sounds fantastic. We'd like to extend this offer to builders and casual roleplayers (-brofist-) or complex machinery wizards that you'll have the option to get in on that and have your work be appreciated.
 
 
How not to get booted:
In terms of rules, it's the usual don't be an @sshole. We're not gonna babysit you. Use your social skills, don't grief (Classy, reversible pranks are cool. Know your prankee's boundaries. -eyeroll- Don't cause drama and ruin everybody else's mood. Blahblah.), don't harass players that happen to be female or some other discriminations. (We're not here for any of that.), and frugal use of chunk loaders and blah blah blah. Reasonable stuff. :/ Behave like you have sense.
We're pretty easygoing peeps, this is our place to relax and be real. We're just tired of all the crap and understand that other people are too. We'd like to play with more people.

Most importantly write a paragraph - Not much to say about me, a jack of all trades that like to see how mods work with making different kinds of bases and buildings. I do enjoy playing this game with others, when the cheese ball headed owners can keep the server from being a three ring *bleep* *bleep* in a tent with *bleep* *bleep* *bleep* on a screw ball *bleep* *bleep* back of a lawn *bleep* *bleep* textbook *bleep* *bleep* with a *bleep* *bleep* eight legged *bleep* *bleep* mess. I do intend to record for my channel on the server since I wanted to do a modded series for a while now and with it being summer and college done for the quarter, perfect time to start up. The server looks nice and I do like the mission goal of the server.

Tl;dr my co-ops and I are fed up with all the ill managed and mod-banned servers out there that can't keep their crashing under control, so I came out of adminship vacay to gather my techs and trusted players to attempt to make our own... Only our server owning guy quit the project. So we're back to square one. xD Thought I'd shop around for the right server for us to hang out in.

I see you want the bro-ship that the Youtubers share. That's the mentality we were going to build my server on, not a huge community but a "Haven" where likeminded folks can chill and play the dang game together and maybe consentually duel or non-maliciously prank a friend without insta-ban, and both laugh about it. Hence my particular interest in trying out your server. I enjoy smaller communities.

I've outright denied using servers where the first reaction to my username or definitively-female ingame avatar is inappropriate commentary or behavior. Ain't gotta tolerate that crap--it happens way too often.
 
You may wish to include if PVP is enabled or not, any banned items or not, and whether you have additional features or not (such as Factions or Economy or are not bothering with that junk, which says something to your prospects), or the like, in your initial post. Certain players are looking for certain types of servers. Which is why many undefined, open servers get run over by the not so friendly sort and/or die a slow server death when they and the failing sense of community drive your players off. It happens way too often. Well, I'm not here to lecture. xD You know you've been in something too long when you start complaining at length about its faults.

Tl;dr: My co-ops and I are fed up with all the ill managed and mod-banned servers out there that can't keep their crashing under control, so I came out of adminship vacay to gather my techs and trusted players to attempt to make our own... Only our server owning guy quit the project. So we're back to square one. xD Thought I'd shop around for the right server for us to hang out in.
 
23, mature player. Fine with kids, as long as they don't act like brats. :] Can handle brats though. We were all that age once.

Me, I'm not going back to vanilla after this modpack. So much moddery to play with. I'm just an explorer that hobos until I find the right spot that speaks to me. I play multiplayer because I want the social interaction and co-op in my gameplay experience, and see and help with others' awesome creations ahem. I'm looking at smaller whitelists because my friends and I want the bro-ship that the Youtubers share and to hang with new friends, and not to mention avoid dealing with griefer kidlets. That's the mentality we were going to build my server on, just a "Haven" where likeminded folks can chill and play the dang game with other folks that also just want to chill with other folks, and maybe consentually duel or non-maliciously prank a friend without insta-ban and both laugh about it. Hence my particular interest in your server. I enjoy smaller communities.
