  1. That I know of I believe the built broken team are working on a new Voltz version. They did say something about it. I believe they were waiting to make sure their icbm version and their version of mffs is stable first though.

    this was months ago though so not sure if things have changed

    i have made my own modpack running 1.7.10 called aVolts 2.0 but it's not official voltz.

  2. Since the latest update my server has been having random heart attacks with players.

    This happened to a player that was in their base. Then to another player that was flying over an ocean biome. Every time we had to load their chunk before they could join.

    Above is the error. Regarding a chest of all things.

     

    EDIT: Inside the Chests at hand was either Oak Wood, or Forestry Items. Could the problem actually be Forestry?

    Still crashed even with the chest being emptied, broken and replaced with a new chest. Had to wipe the chunk in the end but this is pretty serious :-/

    Every possibility it is thanks to the ported IC2 classic. Please do not add ported mods, they are as unstable as their original. Add the official IC2 mod if you intend on doing it. At least that way its up to date and constantly being fixed...

  4. Hello and thankyou for reading this. My name is DJOveryde, I am the owner of the Arcadia Network.

    We strive to give the best player experience that we can. Staff are on hand to help in any way they can! The network has been running for well over a year now, we started as a single server with Voltz 2.0.4 and has since branched off into new custom modpacks like Hexx: Reloaded. 

    We have come back to running official modpacks now. And have now created the Tekkit Legends Server running on the Factions Plugin!

    Please bear with us if any downtime does arise. As the modpack is new there is the possibility of issues/bugs/crashes. We appologise in advance should any of these occur!

  5. Hey all, so for the past few months I have been working on stabalising a modpack known as hexx: Reloaded.

    The aim of the pack was to give the feel of hexxit but expand on it. While some players have not liked the changes (Battletowers and Dim Doors removed). Others have praised it, mainly for the fact that other mods take place of those missing to give the modpack an expanded feel to it.

    The target was to create a version of hexxit set in the future where the creatures had taken over and humanity had to leave to regroup and think of a new plan.

    I heard that Hexxit 1.7.10 has had its starting issues, and I think this is a great pack that could replace that lost excitement and thrill that came with hexxit.

    For those of you interested in playing just search for Hexx: Reloaded, would be great to see you all there.

    For the hexxit owners, I would love to take on the challenge of hexxit and merge hexx into it, its a shame seeing the pack stagnate for so long

    Hexx: Reloaded backstory:

    In the year 1066 humans declared war on the creatures of minecraftia but it did not go as expected, the creatures of the dark fought back and corrupted humans were turned into creatures of the abyss and darkness. 
    With what was left of Humanity a mystical cult sent the remaining humans to the nether, a dimension of suffering and fire. While the creatures of minecraftia roamed free creating new empires and summoning new guardians of the elements.


    10 years after the hexxit wars, 2 brave heroes had enough of all the anger and pain humanity had suffered. 
    After researching weird markings inside a nether fortress the 2 heroes created thaumaturgy, the study of magic and interdimensional travel. 
    With the knowledge they had discovered they had opened a portal to the outerlands, where an ancient race of aliens with advanced technology and magical powers dwelled. They showed humanity the power of madness and the darkest secrets of thaumaturgy as well as showed humanity wonderful machines with the power of putting 10 million cobble in to a single case, humanity dubbed this the ME project. 
    With the knowledge humanity had obtained they imbued their weapons with the power of fireballs and lightning and thier armor with resistance and haste. 
    Humanity was finally ready to take back the world, or die trying. 
    With the new weapons and an army behind you, your new job is to take back minecraftia from the creatures of the abyss and dominate the elderitch that once helped you. 
    It's up to you to help humanity regain it's place as the dominate species or to get sent back into the void. You decide what happens next in the story. This is the Hexx Reloaded wars.

  6. I have been working on a stable tech mod for a while now compiling a good list of mods that compliment each other. 

    I started from the grounds of voltz 3's mods and worked around that.

     

    I'm mainly posting this to give a recommendation from my point of view changes that would be beneficial for voltz.

     

    Remove: Forestry, Extra Utilities, Mad Science, Minechem, Open Blocks, Not Enough Codecs, Open Computers, Zans Minimap.

     

     

    Add: Mekanism, AOBD, Big Reactors, Compact Machines, Computercraft, VoxelmapNoRadar

     

    Main reason for the removals is I think there is a lot of mods that make up the B-Team modpack and i'd rather voltz be a tech mod that it was built for than a mod that has bee keeping.

     

    Feel free to post your thoughts, I think it would be good to have players ideas on changes for the next update so you can create the perfect modpack.

  7. So hold on, I ask a simple question, mainly because I want to help you get to recommended build as quickly as possible, and you delay it further?

    A simple soon would have sufficed..

  8. Not sure why it got locked but it does tend to take time as has a lot of mods to load. Generally it gets stuck for about 2-3 minutes worst case. Resumes after that. Also make sure you have x64 Java 7 installed (Java 8 is not compatible with minecraft) and technic ram set to at least 2gb (32 bit Java only gives 1gb max which won't work for larger modpacks). Hope that helps
