AetherPirate got a reaction from limerslimer1295 in RAM Problem
This snipped from the Technic Discord will fix you:
You're running a 32bit Java version on a 64bit Operating System. This will prevent you from allocating more than 1GB of ram to the Technic launcher. In order to update to Java 8 64-Bit, please follow these instructions: 1.) Close the Technic launcher. It should not be running! 2.) Open http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp in your web browser 3.) Download the version that has 64-bit in it for you operating system. If you're using Windows download the one that says Windows Offline (64-Bit). 4.) After the download is complete. You must install it. You can do so by double clicking on the icon to run it. 5.) After it installs start up the Technic launcher again. 6.) Click on Launcher Options in the top right of the screen. 7.) Click on the tab called Java Settings 8.) Click on the dropdown called Minecraft Java Version and select the option that says 1.8_151 64-Bit. 9.) Click the dropdown called Memory and select an option that's between 2 GB and 4 GB. Do not select an option higher than 4 GB!

AetherPirate got a reaction from FacaGamerHD in Download error
You must zip it in .zip format, renaming a .rar file to a zip does not make it a zip.

AetherPirate got a reaction from Leumasdranrab in Login error cannot reach authservers
Your SSL certs are broken somehow. This tool may help https://www.digicert.com/util/repair-intermediate-ssl-certificate-errors-using-digicert-utility-for-microsoft-servers.htm
You could also stop by the Technic Discord and drag a log into the chat, the bot there will probably have an SSL fix for you too.

AetherPirate got a reaction from TherealJez in [1.11.2]MineFriendly[PvE][20 slots][MineFriendly Modpack]
This is a very, very friendly server. It is refreshing to play on a server with a small but growing community whose primary interest is helping each other out. The primary focus here is building, mostly cooperatively. I am looking forward to stopping back in to play more, after some additional mods have been added (I'm spoiled, need my tech mods).

Your bin, mods, and config folders are inside another folder, they should not be. Zip then up, and name that modpack.zip

Don't allocate more than 4GB of ram. Make sure you are using your fancy GPU instead of onboard GPU when you start the launcher.
Pastebin your latest log too, perhaps there is something in there,

It was the Flans Teams Scores key, I think.

AetherPirate got a reaction from rodriguezrrp in [SOLVED] Hats GUI in custom modpack is not working.
I tried your Lite pack, saw the same thing. I noticed that 'H' was bound to something else, so I unbound it, and it worked. I had to run to work, did not have time to kill any mobs with hats, but the GUI did come up for me after fixing the key bindings.

AetherPirate got a reaction from KenovaStrider in Mechanist crafting table. crash.
This is a known bug with tekkit 1.6.4. The culprit is Simply Jetpacks, you can update with https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/simply-jetpacks/files/2206512
Note that if you are playing on a server, the server owner and all clients would need this newer jar file
