AetherPirate got a reaction from WhiskeyCoffee in Starting a new Tekkit server plus World Eddit and Archimedes
I don't know of any pack that already includes those mods.
You could use Tekkit Legends or most any 1.7.10 modpack, and add:
https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/archimedes-ships/files/2207285
and
https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/worldedit/files/2309699
to your mods folder
I highly recommend you read https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/worldedit if you plan on making much use of it. There are other things you can download to make it more useful.

AetherPirate got a reaction from abomb66 in Tekkit + FTB
Have a look at the 1.7.10 pack, http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/the-1710-pack.453902
It is a large 1.7.10 kitchen-sink pack.

AetherPirate reacted to Kevazy in Custom modpack crashing after loading files
So have you figured out how I fix this? I highly appreciate that you are helping me with this.

AetherPirate got a reaction from heyloony in Launcher opens, modpack closes and returns to launcher when starting a game
Install this Java http://cdn.lemonmc.com/jre-8u25-windows-x64.exe
Then allocate more ram to the launcher.
-
AetherPirate got a reaction from Techier in Java 64 bit is slower, even with more RAM
Don't allocate more than 4GB of ram, and make sure it's using your Nvidia GPU and not the Intel one. Check your video settings too in-game and try turning off Fancy graphics and reduce the chunk view distance.

AetherPirate got a reaction from KiindOuille in modpacks not launching
Close the launcher
run this http://tk.iamtrue.net/clearJavaEnvVars.bat
and try again

AetherPirate got a reaction from JayGhoul in 1.11 Modpacks?
Version 1.11 is available on modpack settings page as an option, if that was your question. As for mods moving to 1.11, that is up to the individual modders to decide if and when.

AetherPirate got a reaction from HoztileManikyn in Need Help with my modpack (RESOLVED)
everything is in a folder called modpack, the the bin, config, and mods folders should not be in a subfolder.
-
AetherPirate got a reaction from HoztileManikyn in Need Help with my modpack (RESOLVED)
format your dropbox link according to https://www.circlecraft.info/hosts/
I forget to tell you that the zip needs to be named modpack.zip
it should contain
mods -- should have all your mods
confg --your config files, adjusted as you like them.
bin -- should contain forge universal renamed to modpack.jar and nothing else.
-
AetherPirate got a reaction from HoztileManikyn in Need Help with my modpack (RESOLVED)
rename the file and get rid of the space
The Nomad.zip is not OK
thenomad.zip is
You'll need make a new dropbox link, and increment you pack version number.
Also, you have a lot of extra stuff in there.

AetherPirate got a reaction from AfterDarkServers in Tekkit 1.7.10 . Cauldron Issue. any suggestions on how make a Tekkit server with plugins?
Attachments don't work here, use patebin. As for pluggins, you may want to try Thermos http://cyberdynecc.github.io/Thermos/install instead of Cauldron
Many bukkit pluggins work with it.
Use build 57
-
AetherPirate got a reaction from CovertOps in Help with making a server
did you rename the forge universal in your server's clientpack /bin folder to modpack.jar? (If Windows is hiding file extensions, either unhide them or just name it modpack)
-
AetherPirate got a reaction from zAndrewPvp_ in World crash while i open it
in your /world folder there is another folder called HardCore Questing, remove it and relaunch.

AetherPirate got a reaction from ClankyPoo in Mods page
If you are referring to the Mods tab you see on some packs' pages, I *think* you need Solder for that.
-
AetherPirate got a reaction from greybeard in Help with /sethome
You want Forge Essentials for 1.7.10, assuming your running a Forge server.
https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/forge-essentials-74735/files?filter-game-version=2020709689%3A4449
Not bukkit.
And don't make a /pluggins folder, they just get dumped into /mods

AetherPirate got a reaction from sentinel618 in PVE / PVP [1.7.10] [Whitelist] TechPile (RotaryCraft)
No problem. Work's been busy for me lately. I sometimes have time in the morning and occasionally in the evening. With luck I'll be on later tonight
There's a new pair of regular players too, say hi to Sentinel and IceFaery if you see them.

AetherPirate got a reaction from dowel9 in Mods and Copyright
If it's 1.8 or later for some reason
the whole permissions thing confuses me. If you don't want people using it, don't release it.
on that ftb list, red checks mean click and read why the answer is "no"

AetherPirate got a reaction from Tomokuro in Wont launch modpacks
Pastebin your log
Though I suspect you have Windows 10
if so, try java 8u25 x 64

AetherPirate got a reaction from SimpsonDevs in Can you have two diffent people be on the same account
No, the second person will be rejected by Mojang's Auth server. If you want two people playing online at the same time, you will need two paid accounts.
