    Im still playin TPPI, just having a lot of RL drama going on. I may have one more with me for TPPI as well sine she just got a new PC. But will keep an eye out if things are done with here. Ive no idea what the other pack has, but I really like what TPPI has, especially the balance changes.

     

    ​I agree, I'm done with TPPI1 for now. I'll setup a TPPI2 server when it comes out of open beta. If anyone wants a copy of the map files for TPPI1 just PM me.

    Hey Geistes is the server up and running or did we change packs? because it is not poping up

    ​The server is still running, but has little traffic. Most people have moved the the FTB Infinity server, which has half a dozen or more people online on a daily basis (which is super nice).

    Speaking of the TPPI server, I'm going to be dialing back the resources it has access to so I can dedicated them to other projects. This is also in preparation for TPPI2 which is currently in an open beta.

    Thanks for the quick reply Geist~ I suppose I'll have to go easy on the progress I make on Infinity if there's a chance of reset. Regardless of your decision, I'd like to build official spawn if that's alright with y'all!

     

    Thanks for the access, is the IP the same as it is for the TPPI server?

     

    Chances are the map will not reset, I did not reset the map for the TPPI server when I built it... so go nuts. I say that as I cannot think of any reason why I would need to reset the map.*

    Wait there is a inifinity server? Are we allowed to get on or are you working on it?

     

    Hey Geist, I've been testing the Infinity server and wanted to let you know that everything is running smoothly! However, a few small things of convenience have been bugging me and a pal. If you could disable those pesky creepers and what have you from doing block damage, and add in a /home, /sethome, etc. functionality like we have on TPPI that would be stellar~

     

     

    There is currently an infinity server in a testing phase, I haven't had a moment to setup any of the plugins or permissions yet so thats why crepers are very annoying and there is no commands.

     

    You can play on the server currently, however there is a chance the map will be reset when I get all the plugins sorted out.

     

    @browniehound I've given you PRIVAC (Privileged Access), so feel free to explore the pack a bit, just keep in mind it's possible the map may be wiped in the future.

    Hello!  I just found this, and I'm so very surprised and happy it is still active.  I'm going to fill this out for me and my girl.  Hope to have a long playing experience here!

    How long have you been playing Minecraft) I started playing MC in its beta stages, cant remember the exact patch.  Afterwards took a rather large break, and as of about a month ago have picked it back up.  However have continued to watch MC videos (specifically etho, bdubs, and vintagebeef) 
    What keeps you playing Minecraft?) I came back to Minecraft because of the sandbox aspect and found myself missing being able to build what ever came to mind, and that is still what keeps me playing.

    Hey geistes, sorry for not being on as often as usual. I was just wondering, did you disable the IRC? Whenever I try to connect to it now, it just says "connecting" and doesn't do anything. Thanks!

    EDIT: I just noticed that the server is down. Any reason for that? :D

     

    I didn't break anything this time, I swear! But just to let you know Geist, server went down and didn't come back online at about noon. Secondly, the Irc channel seems to be having issues. :|

     

     

    Yarp, seems down to me (3/2/2015 at 12:33 PST) But I am at a buddies place again so it very well could be my end *nods* Just an FYI for ya. Been doin RL stuffs and workin more hours to cover for a co worker. Hehe Not enough time to play all the games I want.

     

     

    I'm not sure what the issue with the IRC channel would be...Other than GBot being disconnected :P

     

    Bad news is - as some of you know - the harddisk drive on the server died, Monday was a public holiday here so I wasn't able to buy a new disk until today.

    Good news is that I have the new disk! Two of them in fact! I'll be setting them up in a RAID 1 configuration so that this mess doesn't happen again. In further addition to the good news, It looks like I'll be able to recover all of the data from the damaged drive! 

     

    Server should be up by 8AM UTC at the latest.

    Hey Geistes, I think I had the good fortune of corrupting yet another chunk. I was trying to remove a bedrock portal that had been unintentionally activated with a quarry, but it caused my client to crash and all follow up attempts to join the server. If you could remove the quarry and the bedrock portal (Thaumcraft Kami) that would be stellar.

    What keeps you playing Minecraft?: ...Then someday i was watching an youtuber playing the game and i saw how amazing is the game and the fact that you have infinite possibilities, as you can be many things like an architect, explorer, hunter, adventurer...well, this was in pirate version then i've fell in love with the MC and wanted an original account so here i am, RakovKreviech buyed the original game for computer in 15/01/2015(I'll never forget this day xD).Plus the mods, i love this tech mods like Mekanism and IC2, the modders make the game even greatest!

    Just a quick update and a minor announcement. 

     

    Things have gone smoothly and the fixed map is being uploaded to the server as we speak.

    As for the announcement; In order to keep the tick time under 50ms I ask you to keep chunk-loaders to a minimum.

    In concordance with this, I have removed all chunk loaders placed by users who have not logged into the server in over a month.

    This is to reduce the tick time back into a nominal range.

    Hello all, I'm removing the block that is responsible for the world corruption as we speak. Tatters has decided against pursuing a career as a beeologist, So we probably wont have this issue again.

     

    Please be aware the map size is in the range of tens of gigabytes, and when working with files this large most operations do tend to take a while to complete.

     

    I expect to have the server back online in about an hour and a half.
