  1. Hello everyone! Glad you're taking a look at this thread, this will contain information regarding our custom modpack which is set to be released in June, and this thread was created on April 13th of 2017, leaving us with a month and a half to work on this pack.

    We are open to ideas, including mod suggestions, server suggestions, and comments regarding this project.

    Why am I doing this? Every summer I set up a modded server so me and a couple friends can play on it while the summer goes on, then we hibernate the server during September, since we all start school, but we will keep it up if anyone is willing to keep playing on it. It wasn't until last summer that I allowed other players who aren't my close friends to play on it, by submitting a whitelist application. This allowed us to control the flow of players, and since we won't be to strict with rules on the modded server, we want to keep things in order with the flow of players going in and out.

    Why a custom modpack?:
    It wasn't until last summer that I made a server running on my own custom modpack, and we loved it. We used to just run the server on more known packs, such as Tekkit, and most popularly (for me) Attack of the B-Team. Now, I'm a fan of tech and nature mods, and since my friends enjoyed magic mods too, we played Attack Of The B-Team since it included all 3 genres, but since last summer I created a pack that also contained all 3 genres, but were updated mods, and instead of playing a modpack running on version 1.6.4 of Minecraft, we played on version 1.7.10 which was a lot better.

    What will this new modpack be?:
    It will be a mix of 3 genres, which are tech, nature, and magic. It'll definitely be a modpack containing more than 100 mods, so please be aware of that. The name of the modpack is still in the works, but as of now it's called "Xaskuenope - Trinity", I added "trinity" to it because the word itself means 3, and the 3 genres are included.

    How would the server be?:
    It'll run strictly on survival, with nearly no blocked items, which means you can use most of the modpack items on the server. We will not have a creativity world or anything of the sorts. Server will contain basic rules, such as no griefing since we all want to keep our belongings on the server and it will be whitelisted, no hacking, meaning no force flying if it's not a modded item in-game or anything related. More information about the server rules will be mentioned below. Server will run version 1.7.10 as of now. The server will also not have all the fancy plugins that our semi-vanilla server has, so the only plugins we'll actually use on the modded server are these:

    Server Rules:
    - There is no griefing, since there will be no protection plugin.
    - There is no suicidal messages, or threats.
    - There is no toleration for players using hacked clients.
    - Be respectful to all players on the server.
    - Report any bugs or faults belonging to the server or modpack.

    Modded Server Ranks:
    The server will only have 2 ranks, which will keep things simple.
    -  You earn this by logging on the server for the first time after being accepted.
    - [Trusted] You earn this by gaining trust from the owner or staff members after playing on the server.
    - [Staff] You are only given this rank if the owner offers it to you, there is no applying for staff on the modded server.

    Come Beta Test The Modpack!
    I'm releasing the early versions of the modpack for players such as yourselves to help me find bugs, crashes, or problems in the pack. If you wish to become a beta tester, you must agree to send me information about the pack, such as how it runs and the bugs you encounter.

    How do I get the beta pack?:
    First, download Technic Launcher which will do all th dirty work of installing the modpack for you. First make sure you grab the right version for your operating system.

    Secondly, once you downloaded and logged in with your Minecraft credintials, follow the link below to be redirected to our modpack download.

    Then proceed to click on "Install This Modpack" which is located to the top right of the website, it will open a tab above showing a long link API, just click in the link and CTRL + A to highlight the link text then CTRL + C to copy the link.

    Thirdly, go to your Technic Launcher and paste the link into the search box above the official preinstalled modpacks that you see. Once you paste it and hit enter, our modpack will appear, all you have to do is hit "Install" and wait until it's done then click "Play"!

    WARNING: Make sure to add at least 2.5 GB of RAM to your Technic Launcher, by going into launcher options then clicking Java settings, then setting the RAM from 1 to 2.5 or more if possible. Click "X" and hit "Play"! Also, to let the world generate, be sure to lower your render distance to the lowest setting possible, and putting graphics on fast, and your framerate from VSYNC to UNLIMITED. This will make the world generate faster.

  2. Hey! So, I'm creating this modpack and it works when I'm using the regular .minecraft mods folder, but when I uploaded the exact same mods, as a modpack up to Technic Launcher, I open the pack and the pack loads, and starts up on the title screen, notifying me with all the mods put inside it. 

    Sadly, when I go to create a world, I hit Create New World, and it says "Creating New World" or something like that, then after a second, it takes me back to the title screen. I can't create any new world. 

     

    Any help? No crashes, just no world start.

    After I did that, it launches with those mods

    I also noticed that some of  your mods are old, like Enderio, others too. Consider updating. 

    As for that server log, attachments don't work, pastebin it.

  4. Hi, so I made a server and modpack update on my custom modpack. 

    I tested the mod's manually, to see if it worked on client side and it does. It works completely fine. Now, I decided to load them into our server and I hit start and it keeps crashing.

    Well.. my mod pack which is "Forsaken Border's Trinity SMP" has Thaumcraft and Magica. We do not have Custom NPC's though. We also own a WhiteListed Server for it with currently 9 players and any more people are welcomed.

  7. Hi everyone, my name is Vito and I am glad to announce a new custom made mod pack named "Forsaken Border's Trinity". This Mod Pack consist's of 146 gorgeous mods packed into something incredible. We tried balancing the genres all into one which I think we have done. The genres in this modpack is "Magic", "Tech", and "Nature". This mod pack was originally intended to be a private mod pack, but looking back on how good it is (personally) we thought it would be nice to share it with the community. I understand many people will just look at this thread and leave but its fine. We just thought we would share it with the community. 

    What does this modpack have?

    Wait, there's a server?

    Correct, this mod pack was made for the "Forsaken Border's" Community, we own a Semi-Vanilla Server for 1.8 and all the players decided they wanted a modded Forsaken Border's Server too. So we started working on it. Through conflict problems, crashes, low FPS. We finally managed to fix everything up and released it to our community. Of course, since now we are sharing the mod pack to the public we made the server a whitelisted server. Players who do not belong to the community CAN join the community! So if you enjoy the mod pack and want to play it with friends, well now its the time to ask. Since the Guidelines and Rules prevent us from posting applications from open forum websites, it's located in our "Overview" section in our Technic URL. 

    If I manage to join the server, what are the rules?

    1. No Griefing at all. This is strictly forbidden.

    2. No Stealing items from chest's or anything that belongs to a different player.

    3. Do not insult each other with offensive language.

    4. Minimum cursing is allowed (but do not direct the curse words to players)

    5. Do not spam other different server's in the chat or spam anything else.

    6. Do not ask staff or the owner to give you items from the creative tab.

    7. Do not spam teleport request's to players or anything similar.

    Are there any server plugins?

    Indeed! We managed to include KCauldron 1.7.10 on the server meaning we can add plugins on a modded server.

    How can I run the mod pack correctly?

    It is extremely recommended to run the mod pack with at least 2 GB of RAM since we have quite a lot of mods.

    You have both Optifine and Fastcraft here, pick just one and remove the other. 

    Your version of Galacticraft is about seven months old. Other mods may be out-of-date too. 

    I'm not at my testing PC right now, so I cannot launch it to test, but post again if you are stuck. 

     

     

     

    Hey, so all my mods work. I own a server running all these mods and 4 of my friends run the modpack using the regular mc client but we wanted a technic version for easier use. By that being said, all our mods work and the server has no issue running them either. What do you mean the jar is just named modpack.jar.jar? Says modpack.jar in my bins folder.

  9. Hi, It seems like my modpack runs and opens fine, but when Im on the title screen it says its just regular 1.7.10 Minecraft. It doesnt say its running mods, in fact its not using any mods. I checked the folder through %appdata% and it has the mods in it, I have Forge 1.7.10 Universal and named it to modpack.jar and put it into the bin. But it just doesnt load the game with the mods. Any help?

  10. Hi there, we're glad you are interested in playing our custom mod pack in our custom server too. Well, let me introduce you to "Forsaken Border's Trinity". Our new custom mod pack consisting of 146 mods with 133 Active Mods in it, including Optifine, NEI, and Inventory Tweaks to enhance client side game play.
    What is Forsaken Border's Trinity?
    It's a very open source custom mod pack made with the best known mods and a few obscure mods that need to be heard off, with a mix of 3 genres in it for "Trinity" we have Magic, tons of magic mods such as Thaumcraft, BloodMagic and more. We have technology mods, such as BuildCraft, Thermal Expansion, and tons tons more. Oh and let's not forget Nature, with mods such as TropicCraft, Biome's O' Plenty and much more. The goal of the pack is to have set up a original and unique home using our mods included, we do not want to see any 5 by 5 wooden homes, it just ruins the aspect of modded minecraft. Finally, having a simple but great community on here.

    -Lockette (Chest protection, Furnace protection, Door protection)
    -PEX (Many different job ranks included for level up)
    -Dynmap (Check out the server world right in your browser!)
    -Coreprotect (For any griefing or home rollback, incase it gets destroyed or damaged)

    Wait, there is chest protection but no land claims?

    Correct, we think it might be a little messy, players asking for more claim blocks, etc. In the end, its annoying. But since this is a white-listed server, we will only accept people who seem trust worthy and want to have some fun. But if anything does happen we can always fix it and roll the damage back!

    How can I run this modpack correctly?
    You'll have to download the pack through a Media Fire link which is completely safe, we are working on putting it in Technic Launcher too. Once you downloaded it, you must get Forge 1.7.10 Latest in order to work. You need to apply at the very least 2 GB of RAM to it. Just open the .zip and copy ALL the mods in the folder into your mods folder located in your .minecraft folder by typing %appdata% in your search bar.

    Server IP: Not just yet, apply in the "Applications" tab at the top of this website to get elected to join.

    How do I join the server?
    You need to hit the "Applications" Tab at the top of this website and fill the form out and just hit submit, it will take 1-2 days or actually 30 minutes or less if we are not busy to let you join. Once you are accepted, you will be put into the list of players in this forum thread and you will receive a message in your application with the IP and a welcome message with the rules.

    Just sent him a warning message as I am with you on this. This is copy right infringement and is trying to make money off something that you made and did not give rights too.

    Hey there. I suggest you delete everything you just did. Everything. Delete all the files in your current modded server. Then go here http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/attack-of-the-bteam.552556

    Now go to the right of the page and click "Server Download" , once you have it just open it up and drag and drop all those files into your minecraft server folder or where-ever your hosting it from using a Control Panel or FileZilla Program, load up the Forge 1.6.4 jar in there and let the needed files get created. It should run smoothly after that.
