    When you update your modpack, but don't increase the modpack's version, the launcher's cache doesn't get reset. That means that it keeps using the old download link for up to about an hour. If you increase the modpack's version, a simple launcher restart is usually enough to trigger it. Downloaded fine on my end now though (probably because its 12 hours later now).

    The Forge installer, renamed to modpack.jar, just goes into the bin folder. You probably included the universal forge, but that one doesn't work for the last few versions of Forge for 1.12.2.

    Modpack incorrectly zipped, zip bin/config/mods folders directly into one zip, not the folder they're in.

    Don't use the universal, rename the installer "as-is", no extracting.

    Yeah, sorry there, I just get a bit cranky after I get the next gazillionth person requests help, shows all they did, but leaves out the one file that actually shows what they tried and what not. That's the technic log. You can find it under Launcher Options > Open Logs. Optionally, just come over to the technic discord. Its a bunch easier there, also a bunch faster than slow forums like these.

    Forge update 2854 changed things. You need the Forge Installer renamed as modpack instead of Universal. Download and rename the Installer, DO NOT run/install/extract the installer.

    Minecraft accounts have a certain ID. This ID does not change past about 1.7.10, when namechanges were introduced. Before 1.7.10, namechanges weren't supported, but as long as they keep the same name, the server won't know any better than it being the same person.

    Forge changed things with 2854 and newer, you must use the Installer now, not the universal. You still need to re-name it to Modpack. And don't run the installer, just re-name it.

    "i had to force close my computer." And there's your issue. DimensionalDoors (the weird door portals in the overworld leading to a dark maze) dimensions tend to get corrupted if the world is suddenly closed.
    The fix is easy though. Go to %appdata%\roaming\.technic\modpacks\tekkitmain\saves and open your world save, then delete the Dimdoors/Dimensionaldoors folder inside there. You should be able to play your world again after that.

    They used the installer instead of the universal forge. They likely saw one of my posts, since I've been telling this same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

    Remember the step where you need to rename the forge file to modpack.jar? Rename it to just modpack instead. Don't add the .jar.
    After this, you need to add a lot of dependencies. You can see those on your screen once you added:

    After all these additions and changes, the modpack started and I was able to create a new world.

    No. You download the Forge 2854 Installer. You rename that to modpack.jar. You don't do anything with the universal forge anymore. This is ONLY for 2854, and for Forge 1.13 and higher.
