That sounds like virus behaviour. Remember what program you downloaded last on your flashdrive and contact the website you downloaded it from. It may not be that, but better safe than sorry. Also, full virus scan of any computer that flashdrive's been in contact with. Safe mode, you probably know the works. Do it twice to be safe, with two different antivirus programs. Avast!'s a good idea, and whatever program sounds good as well. AVG? I don't know. Avast!'s always been my antivirus to go with. Wipe the flashdrive and reformat. If that's too much hassle, burn it and bury its remains at a crossroads (that bit's optional), get a new one.

First you grab a duck. Then some golden lion tamarin monkey feces. Make sure it's actually from the tamarin monkeys. Some may say capuchin monkey feces will do as well, but I've had better success with tamarin feces. Slather the feces on the duck's tail feathers. ONLY the tail feathers. If you have any left, you can do whatever you want with it. Place the duck on your monitor and have it spin around three times. That should do it. If that didn't work, I'm going to need some more information from you. Namely: 1) What shaders are you talking about? There are several, as far as I know/care to find out. 2) Did you follow the installation instructions TO THE LETTER? This is important. 3) If you ever even tried it, I'm assuming it failed miserably. Did you get any error logs? Post those on pastebin, and then link that to us. Thank you.

If that doesn't help, delete and reinstall the launcher. It may help you. But first look through the list, like Joker said.

Bring torches, or other identifiers. You can always turn back and follow the torches. Assuming you don't run into any traps...

I am unsure how to respond. The pack has been out for three days. You haven't even had the time yet to get bored of the mods.

I deserved that, but I did not intend it that way. When your characters exist of nothing but cubes, their gender becomes hard to distinguish regardless of how you draw them, unless you include the obvious tit plates and frilly skirts. Which you obviously don't want to ever do, unless in certain cases of satire and/or mockery. And long hair isn't exactly exclusive to women. Hell, skirts aren't exclusive to women these days, so really. But, again. I deserved that.

You should first calm down. I understand this has to do with your other topic that you've been bumping a few times (which, incidentally is against the rules.)? For the future: Somebody will, eventually, see your topic and have an idea of how to fix it. Bumping it really does not make that happen any faster. Especially not if you bump your topic within the span of minutes.

With the wealth of information you have chosen to share with us, I can only determine that your PC is infected with ducks. This is a common issue, unfortunately. Now, if you provide us with relevant error logs we may be able to actually help you with your problem.

Have you tried? I haven't had a go at personalizing Hexxit yet, so I don't know. But I'm hazarding a guess in saying that you probably can.

The ore generation has been confirmed to be 100% intentional. The idea is that you spend less time in your mine, and more time slaying (or getting slayed by) mobs and exploring the world.

There's only two things I can suggest, really. 1) Check task manager and close any programs you don't need. 2) Temporarily shut down your anti-virus and/or firewall. Maybe they're interfering.

And now, I guess, you can play Hexxit if you want diamonds on the surface! EDIT: I acknowledge that your posts were at, roughly, the same time. Still, too good to pass up.

You mean that the download makes your PC slow down? While it's downloading, does your PC still react to input within a reasonable timeframe? It's an odd problem, really.

Well, obviously you're not taking into account the difference between metric and imperial. In the US and UK they use the imperial second, which is about a third of the metric second. If all goes well, you'll only have to start your launcher and it'll automatically add Hexxit to the list of modpacks you can play. EDIT: That was a response to another question that was edited by Ogxkiller11 before I posted this reply.
