Hello all, this is my first post on this forum. I greatly appreciate any and all help. I recently downloaded the Tekkit Classic reloaded from Twitch (I think its the most modern version of tekkit?) and started hosting a server for my 6 friends.
I am having really bad server lag. We have only been on it for a day so I doubt it is some crazy amount of pipes, it started lagging as soon as I started it. The log just says system can't keep up or is overloaded. Also had had multiple crashes.
Any ideas as to a problematic mod in the current release? Or maybe something I am missing in setup.
Currently the server starts with 12GB RAM and is capped at 24GB RAM. Full system specs below.
HP Proliant DL380 Gen9
2x Xeon E5-2667v3 (hyperthreading is on)
64GB ECC DDR4
2x RAID 0 240GB SSD for boot
5x HDD in RAID 5 for data
No GPU
This computer only runs the server client, not the game itself. I manage it remotely from my gaming computer.
