[My download isnt downloading anymore.]

My launcher is stuck like this, how do i fixed it?

[Why cant i see a .technic folder?]

I've tried downloading technic like a hundred times and it never seems to work. Ive looked for werid symbols on folder, yet none appear. its never opens. And after seeing a comment on another forum, is say to look for a ".technic folder." ive looked. ive look so many times and it doesnt make one. is there a way to fix this? or am i stuck not being able to use technic?
