  2. First off, trading fallout saves might be against the license you agreed to when you install the game. In which case it's a breach of contract and considered piracy. When the mods create and distribute their code, it becomes intellectual property. Even without a license, you're still required (under international trade and copyright laws) to get their permission before re-distributing. Mojang prohibits the distribution of their jar files, according to their license. So yes, this is piracy. You stupid assclown. Secondly, I'm pretty sure he got banned because he's an annoying little douchenozzle that thinks he doesn't have to follow the rules of a community because he knows how to work is aol machine. As another fellow forum administrator, I ban asshat's. Anyone who disrupts the constructive nature of the community, breaks the rules, or subverts the ban by creating multiple accounts. Also, those that subvert tend to have nothing better to do than make multiple accounts so they can whine about why they got banned as they drink mountain dew and eat cheeto's by the case in their little basement. It's not an apartment. You pay rent because your parents hate you, like the rest of the world.

  4. Everyone with lag issues, do me a favor and turn off millenaire and carruins in modloader.cfg. I just did and it seems to have fixed most of the lag issue.
  5. Re: JAVA ERROR FIX (Read!) the command on XP and 7 is %appdata%\.techniclauncher I don't know about vista but if you're using vista, something is wrong with you.
  6. This is why I think the old installer system is still superior. You had the option of not installing some mods, freeing up some ID's for mods not in the pack that you choose to play with. I think if you could use the launcher to update/download the required files, but still create a similar installation to the old installer.jar then you'd have a perfect being.
  7. I think the issue is spout related and not a specific mod. I'm trying to get an offline install to work so I can test my theory.
  8. I did read that. I'm trying to figure out why the mod select button doesn't do anything when I click on it.

  10. 1) It lags like crazy.I've got 2GB of memory reserved for it and I still can't fight without dying from the lag. 2) I turned off a bunch of mods (like NEI) in modloader.cfg but it didn't change anything. The mod select button doesn't actually do anything for me. Is that just a future update kind of thing?

  13. upgraded IC to fix the crashed reactor. got 4 infinite uranium cells out of the deal. added a second MFSU to manage the cooldown times until I can turn the reactors into Mark I - 0 EE quarries gettin deeper

  15. Re: 6 chamber Nuclear Reactor Setup Power Converters This mod adds blocks that will convert IC2 to BC and BC to IC2. It was supposed to be in the pack but someone was pissed as a fart and forgot it. You'll need to start the game, let it crash, then open PowerConverters.cfg and change the block ID to 223
  16. How to use the reactor is kind of a big subject. The wiki can give you a brief explanation. Watch some youtube vids and google a bit. There's a lot of information out there. It's bugged though. If you plan on using them, never let the uranium cells run out full or it'll crash the map to the saving chunks screen. They last for 160 minutes. There's a mod called power converters that didn't make it into this version of the pack for some reason. If you install the mod You can build something called the energy link that will allow you to connect IC cables and BC conductive pipes. A quarry running on nuclear power is fast as balls.
  17. The reactors. Forgot water destroys the transmitters so I had to move them to the bottom. Probably going to go out the back and put two more closer to the volcano. They all stack to that's 3600 inventory slots per stack. 67 chests per quarry. full of sand, cobble, gravel, and ore. I think I'll build the chest pipes and just let it run. because I can. and I'm a he unless I've had a few shots.
  18. Gonna take me a while. Gotta take my drill to the caves and find me lots of diamonds (or coal). I wanna build 2 more MFSU's (1 for house and 1 for quarry). added some wireless redstone receivers to the reactors so I can turn 'em all off at the same time to cool down/switch cells. Currently building all the internal components. 21 coolant cells, 10 heat dispersers and 4 uranium cells per reactor is very not cheap for 3.

Pretty much cleared out the caves running north and south of my base (mine is on the other side of the village so the quarry will be full of delicious ore). Suggestions welcome Mark I reactor bank. It's not functional yet. I'm still workin on getting the components for more glass fibre and all the internals for the reactors.   22. Re: 6 chamber Nuclear Reactor Setup So I'd be better off daisy chaining a few reactors into a bank of MFSU's. I want to be able to run the thing with my chunkloader while I'm in the caves searching for spawners and the like.
  23. Anyone have a safe setup for a nuclear reactor with 6 chambers? I've been using badashgames 3 chamber setup. But I can only one run quarry efficiently (with an energy link) at a time and I'd like to be running 2 or 3. edit: This thread has changed topic to general reactor discussion. I've got my quarries sorted, thank you.
