Explain your rating: I've got an excellent knowledge of Redpower and ComputerCraft. (previous creations include a functioning frame elevator and a bank system with real payment cards.) Reason it's not 10 is because I'm not really into buildcraft, and it's maybe been a year since I've actually played tekkit.
Why would you like to join our community in particular? Sounds exactly like the kind of place I want to be. One of my favourite things is making towns and so I'm glad that towny is installed. My only more favourite thing is making transport systems (Don't know why. Probably was a train driver in a past life.)
What could you bring to our community: A good knowledge of tekkit, and I'd like to think I'm a nice, fun person to be around. I like building projects together and integrating things (towns etc..). I really enjoy making things that other people can use a lot- if I was going to stay out in the wilderness I'd play SSP.
If I was less busy in real life I'd apply for some staff position, I've done it on a number of other servers.
Any thoughts on the perks mentioned above? I'm not quite sure what this question means but I'm assuming it means 'perks of the server'? If so it's that both EE and CC are not banned, and that it has towny. If it means 'perks about me' then I am an amazing person.
Little bit about me:I'm 19, at university in London studying medicine. I like computer games and watching american sitcoms. The mindy project is currently my favourite. I drink tea in such vast quantities it probably isn't healthy.
Other thoughts:
My least favourite character in the avengers is Nick Fury.

Sorry, I guess I must have mis-spelled your name or something. This is the problem I face when whitelisting is the first thing I do in the morning: my brain isnt awake yet.
EDIT: Nope, just checked it. You should be able to build. Have you walked far enough away from spawn. You should be about 200 blocks away and you get a message saying "Now leaving Airhaven". After that you can build

Also, removed rule 7a) because it just seems to confuse people and tekkit restrict stops EMC farms from working proper anyway.

Well, fine reader, DevCo classic is the newest DevCo server, owned and operated by me, camurro9. It's nice to meet you. Although the server itself is very new we have a small moderation and administration team already, and we share a website/forums with the main DevCo server. (The mains server runs FTB unleashed, but we don't talk much about that.) Our main aims are to get a nice community based on friendship, respect and teamwork and to make some pretty awesome factories and machines (computer-operated everything factory, anyone?)
"But camurro9!" you ask me, "Don't servers have RULES!?"
It pains me to admit it, but yes, our server has a few rules. Rules help control the fun! (FRIENDS reference!) So, in no particular order, here we go:
01. The Admins word is above all, even these rules!
02. No griefing of any kind/bypassing plugins that prevent this.
03. No stealing/bypassing plugins that prevent this.
04. No pvp, it's turned off, bypassing that is a violation.
05. Do not cheat/bypass the AFK kicker to keep a chunk loaded.
06. No Collectors visible from outside your house/factory/settlement. EE must be hidden! if you violate this rule, your collectors may be confiscated.
07. Exploiting any dupe bugs is a violation.
08. Don't harass other players.
09. Client side mods are ok so long as they are not cheaty in nature (ex. x-ray mods)
10. Follow all instructions given by staff.
11. If in a town or city, follow all their rules (but they do not over-ride these.)
12. Quarrying within view of someone elses house or dwelling is not permitted. It's a big map- find your own place!
13. Lying to staff is a bannable offence.
14. Racism, homophobia and discrimination will not be tolerated at all.
If in doubt, just ask yourself whether a model minecraft citizen would do it.
You may notice there are no rules against strong language.- Strong language may be used, so if you're going to get offended by it's use, please find another server, arseface.

This is our current spawn. It's quaint and humble, but as I said, we're a new server. We are in the process of updating our spawn. (It's gonna be big....)
This is one of our new spawn buildings. It's part of what is going to be a massive floating city. (You can see that this building isn't even finished yet.) We are looking for help on this, so if you like building in a team with creative mode, we need YOU!

- How long have you been looking for a server like this?: I've been trawling through modern tekkit servers for a while but I recently realised that I need a classic server. That was when I had the most fun after-all!
- Why do you want to play this server, and not some large-scale one?: I like the sense of community and comraderie on smaller servers. Plus, I absolutley LOVE the idea of EE-Underground. I kind of need EE to function but the idea of hiding it sounds super fun!
- Have you ever been given the position of mod/admin on a server before?: I've been a Mod on 2 servers and I once owned a server. I'm nothing anymore, since when they upgraded from classic I kind of lost interest.
- If you were to witness a flame war (provided there are no admins online), how would you react?: Tell them to stop being so childish, see if there's anything I can do to calm them down, if not just ignore them and wait for an admin
- Now, if you were IN that flame war, and an admin had to come to settle the argument, how would you react? Would you defend yourself? Apologize?: Apologize my butt off. If I were in a flame war I'd have to have a pretty good reason, so I'd probably list the reason that the other guy was doing something wrong.
