Press R (default) while hovering over the item you want to craft. This will bring up the recipe window. Under the output window, there should be a small question mark button. Shift-click that, and, if you have all of the materials, it will fill up the workbench with the materials and let you craft them.

After shortly testing this update it seems the Project red transport system is now no longer focused when you type in a filter in a routed request pipe. all other mods seem to recieve their shortcuts and open UI's or change settings rendering the whole query option in Redpower useless. I have seen this behavior from the NEI and map mods for example.
 
I also seem to be having issues with Wither Skellies no longer dropping the Necrotic Bones but in stead are dropping normal bones. (i know this worked in 1.08 but does not seem to be working in either 1.09 and 1.09b)

You could also add it if you want it that badly. But as Loader said many of the functions are replaced. Specfically the immediate two that come to my mind are TE3 and ProjectRed as they pretty much cover what BuildCraft has. Quarries are also somewhat replaced by Minions. But I am curios to know what BuildCraft has that you are looking for.

Hey, it looks like chicken bones abandoned java 1.6 support in the most recent update.  I'm going to ask him if that was intentional, and that's certainly a pain, but java 1.8 will be released soon (meaning we will abandon 1.6 soon as well), so I'd definitely recommend updating to 1.7.

Oh, really? Was it just as simple as a Java update?

It crashes on startup. This is the only log file i can find that is relevant.
 

if you want to see search results. make sure you are on the first page of all the times. 

Try this:
backup your world, from the save folder, somewhere then create a new world with the same name as your old one, when you start this new world it might put you back into your old save game. If it doesn't go back into your save game folder, open up the world folder for the world you just created and replace the level.dat with the one from your old world that your backed up.

What's the 'anything' you can't find? 
 
In another thread someone mentioned that Titans were the only vehicle enabled, to fit in with the theme of the pack.  If you pack your swear jar away and think about it, you could have just added the vehicles you wanted to your copy of the mod pack. 

It's awesome! But it can do a lot of damage. I was using my smeltery and saw a tornado form right off my island. Luckily, I had recently finished a building made of reinforced stone and glass for my Galacticraft machines and was barely able to force my way inside against the wind. I was glad I didn't head for my house:
 

 
The building without a roof is my house, lol. I had a great view of the destruction through the blast resistant windows of my Galacticraft lab but I was too caught up in the moment to take a screenshot of that. It's going to be a royal pain dealing with that chasm that the tornado dug straight across my compound >:-[
