  1. I think he means just to have extra slots for custom ones, with custom mods, not wanting to edit one of the existing ones. Maybe for a server that uses a different set of mods, or something like that.

  2. Allow me to point out that nobody is calling for demands or a democracy, but rather expressing their distaste for the breaking of your own rules. Democratically speaking, nobody has to be here or follow your rules, so if you choose to be a bag of dicks, then some of us might feel like adding contribution to the decay of a community that you tried so half-heatedly to build. The question is not whether we are welcome here, but if we want to be here. Nobody should have to apologize for a question like Kamikazi's.

So you really think he should be grateful that you so graciously choose to come here, and bless the forums with your presence?
  3. So if a server is running Tekkit 1.14 and I'm on Technic Pack 2.0, I can still connect to it? Sorry if I didn't make my intentions originally clear

... You need 1.1.4, to connect to a 1.1.4 server. 1.1.4 is not on the launcher, because it came before the launcher. So you need to install 1.1.4, the normal way you used to install, before the launcher.

    1+1=2

  4. Perhaps you need to read my first post and then skip over the others and read this last post.

I had a 64 bit Java installed when I first had problems after downloading and using the 0.2 launcher.

One of the first things I did after the launcher.... didn't do squat, was go SERCH the forums for a fix, this serch gave me the impression I now needed Java 7.2 or 7.3 for the launcher to run properly.

Following this advise Bjorke'd my .technicssp and also my .minecraft as well as breaking my Java association with .Jar files.

After UNINSTALLING all Java on my computer and everything minecraft related the auto-detect and installer at the Java site installed a 32 Bit version without me knowing it was a 32 bit version, on checking version after my vanilla Minecraft... didn't do squat, I discovered this flaw and installed the 64 bit version over top of what had AUTOMATICALLY been installed by the auto-detect and install Java software.

So it's our fault that you did something wrong? We should have glimpsed into the future, and gone "Oh no, Mordrake will install the wrong version of Java! WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE SAVE HIM."

Could you perhaps also provide links to documentation regarding how to solve an "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application"?

    1) There are several different types of unhandled exceptions, so just posting that bit doesn't help for shit.

    2) You can use the search function on the site as well as everyone else.
