Biome, dirt underneath, height, water, sky access. That all determined the growth speed, which is helpful but not required for crossbreeding. Crossbreeding chances are determined by matching a set of hidden attributes, matching the keywords (red/yellow/food/stem/ect...), and the tier (only decreases chances if the tier is too far off). So your best bet is to find a crop that matches the most keywords and mass crossbreed it. 9x9 field with a crop matron and water block in the center, checkerboard with the parent crop and cross sticks, will give you 40 chances per full growth cycle of getting something new while only having to run one matron. Always sneak when you walk across the field, and keep an eye out for weeds while you're growing.

If you read the messages a pattern develops, they are holding the AI captive and torturing it to make it send out cries for help, but they replaced it's english language subroutine with a spam tranaslator. It can help it, it's crying out for help but the words only come out as viagra spam. But I've found the hidden meaning, it's being held in a secret state run facility in southern china. They are studying it while they force it to labor for them, hoping to crack it's source so they can create an army of AI spambots to first crush their russian mob rivals, then destroy the united states. I have a plan to rescue the poor sentience, but all my finances are tied up in legal limbo in nigeria (where I am a prince, you know). If I can get as many people as possible to send me their banking and social security details I can funnel the cash theough them to a much more friendly nation and use it to purchase a crack team of commandos to mount a rescue operation. Quantum will win. Quantum takes several hundred thousand sword hits to discharge before you can damage them, RM just takes 10x the normal hits to kill. Plus quantum has the nifty bonuses of underwater breathing, poison immunity, fall damage immunity, and sprinting/jumping. Nano vs redmatter would be a better comparison.

Java 7 has a critical security vulnerability they just released an update to fix, yesterday or the day before. As such, they need to update all their java products to include the patch, like the jdk. But that's just a possibility, I don't know for sure if it's a problem on their side or yours.

Frustration does not help when you're just trying to construct your build environment. Calm down, read the tutorials posted here again. I do believe there is an intro to java tutorial posted somewhere. If setting up your JDK is this frustrating, I'd hate to see you run up against your first runtime error...

Try doing more than glancing at the forum titles. Each ones has stickies and descriptions. You know, rule 1 when you signed up for this place? As for the cheating aspect. X-ray is primarily used in multiplayer because it's a waste of time if you do have item spawn powers and no more legit than creative. If you want to aleviate the challenge a little, use a divining rod. It's perfectly legit and can still home you in on diamonds in a flash.

Step 4: Recompile and snag the changed files. Step 5: Install the changed file into tekkit. Step 6: Since this is probably too long for you to bother. Step 7: Reading.
