No, but it's not nearly as fun and it encourages people to keep being clueless and helpless because Someone Else will do the work for them.
-
You actually put "[insertmodnamehere]" as the fakeplayer?
-
No. Why are people obsessed with only playing the dev builds? It's not like they're the latest and greatest, the builds are incomplete with missing mods and jam packed with bugs the technic team is working to iron out. It's like demanding chevy lets you drive cars that aren't even half done. It's gonna end badly for you and you'll blame it on the makers instead of your own actions.
-
Of course it isn't. The tekkit bug board is for reviewing your local fast food restaurants. How can you be a mod and not know that?
-
Go check out each of the forums then, if you can't tell by title and description. You will not like it on these forums if you can't figure this one out. The technic lords frown upon those who won't atleast try to research their own problem.
-
Wrong. Whole section dedicated to your question, go read more than one section title and find it.
-
Wrong section, check the tekkit area, your problem has been answered a hundred times already...

They will over time. That's why you have it use eggs at a set pace (while keeping a reserve) and only killing the chickens once egg output exceeds your usage. At that point you know you have atleast enough adults to put out more eggs than you have it set to use. Also, have it save the egg count to a file periodically and setup the manager program as the startup program, then it'll be chunk-unload fault tolerant.
-
You could build an automated chicken coop. I saw it as a computercraft project. 2x2 with transposers as the floor, deployers with flint&steel setup to burn all 4 floor squares, and a dispenser at the top that shoots collected eggs at the wall above to spawn more chickens. Sort the transposer output so eggs go through an item detector then into the dispenser. Track your egg count with a computer, have it fire another egg every X seconds/minutes if the count is above a certain amount, and fire off the deployers at the bottom to kill the chickens and harvest the meat/feathers if the count reaches a certain higher amount.

Awesome job. You next project should be a locking system for the print head and a 6-axis worm drive so you can move the whole printer to a new location then print out a new building. Maybe also a quarry head or programed mining turtle so it can clear the print area.

Oh good, you can't understand it either. I thought I was just drunk.

disabling alchemy bags [per world]

I liked it, it was mod block/tool neutral and supported mob drops. One of the pre-made configs was a zombie apocalypse, zombies killed had a 50% chance of spawning 1-4 more zombies if you didn't kill them with a gold sword. Made for some epic combat. -
... Thanks beer, now I read freakachu's posts in the professor's voice...

You know what would be sweeter than BTW? Better than wolves AND the McDonalds mod. Doesn't that just sound so completely and utterly awesomesausagemcbossage? I mean really, that dns pack is clearly winning because of sheer number of mods alone, kaker and the lot really need to step up their game and cram in as many mods as possible.
-
Yes, they removed it. Just to punish you for what you did. You know what you did Abe. That poor llama will never walk straight again, and even if it was already cracked that was a faberge egg. You deserve it 10 times over.

disabling alchemy bags [per world]

No plugins come with tekkit anymore, so it's best to check on the bukkit page for it. It could be that the plugin doesn't like mods at all and there is no way to get rid of the spam. When I played around with a server I had a plugin called better drops (I think that was the name of it) that let you alter the drops of any blocks or mobs. That thing threwup 7 lines of error for every tick a quarry was running, and I never found a way around it. -
ComputerCraft Disk drives - known working?
Neowulf replied to draeath's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Craft a disk with a bit of redstone dust above a piece of paper. That is the correct disk to use. And remember any changes you make to the server config have to be mirrored on all clients. That's the beauty of tekkit, kaker and the team have already done all the config needed to get it working and provide you both the client and server with identical configs. -
Just saw that. I know it's nostalgia talking but I wish they'd make one more like the first game. Base was a great game by itself, but with a mod like renegades it was just epic.

Read the spam and figure out what plugin is taking offense to [buildcraft] mining those blocks, then correct the plugin. -
So, ThaumCraft and IC2 are incompatible with the latest forge?
Neowulf replied to LazDude2012's topic in Cafe Lame
If the mods don't support something then you would have to decompile them, fix the code somehow (might be a whole rewrite of some system), and recompile them yourself. You would have to do this with every update. If you didn't know that already, chances are you don't have the skills to do it correctly and it'll just cause you hours and hours of frustration. -
extra little inimini mod?
Neowulf replied to ChargedCreeperBrony's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Flash games? I had the DOOM 2 mod that replaced the demons with Barnies. That purple foam suit has been hated by anyone past kindergarten since the show first aired. -
extra little inimini mod?

The latest incarnation of MLP was written to entertain, not just sell toys to little girls. Many of the jokes and references go way over the heads of little kids, and some of the situations are actually more adult than some parents wish their children to watch (pinkie's mental breakdown, twilight's multiple mental breakdowns). Barnie would never zipline, and even if he did they wouldn't have the rope snap halfway down and show him and 3 children screaming in terror as they plummet to the ground. And the teletubbies are a bad acid trip, not a show. -
$10 says this is the same guy Jay banned a couple days ago, also asking for a way around the launcher.
