    I see from the forums that you have a decent idea on how to fix things, so instead of trying my luck on the forums, I am going to ask you directly. I would greatly appreciate a response and I would like to say thank you in advance. I'm trying to set up a tekkit classic server and having issues.       the link i gave you was to the 32 bit version of the installer. here's the 64 bit version instead: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=15336

      you will need to either: 1. install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package, OR 2. add -nojline after -nogiu in your run.bat get the Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=29
