  1. Hi, i write here to ask you if you know something about the slow download i get right now. I tried to install a new modpack (an old one, exactly, Hexxit) and 10min later the download was still 0%. Then i redownloaded the technic launcher, to see if reinstalling the whole thing would repair everything, but i waited like 5min for the .exe to arrive. Right now, it downloads the files, but almost 1 hour later, i'm still at 54% !!! I've got a huge connexion, everything else is working fine (except Youtube which is a little bit too much ddos attacked these days), so i'm kind

Hello there, I opened the Technic launcher for this first time in a year today and I cant get the launcher to open, I will download the program from the official website again and again and every time my PC will try and open it, however it will not run correctly, I access the files VIA "%Appdata%" and the ".Technic" folder will be available however there is nothing to launch the file with it there. This is a really frustrating issue and I hope someone can help. I currently use Windows 10 for my computer. I can try anything that you ask me so I will probably.
  6. Hello guys. I was wondering if you could help me with the problem of skin not showing up. In both singleplayer and multiplayer, sometimes I can see my skin after changing dimensions (earth, nether, end) but, sometimes I can't. Here's an example of what I'm trying to say.   7. Ok. So i've been having some trouble with lag in modpacks. This lag is completely insane. Its so bad i cant even choose stuff in the main menu. This is not only happening in technic but also fbt. I updated my java to the newest version. I also tried reinstalling the launcher. I used to be able to play it with 60 fps. So i doubt it has anything to do with hardware.

  10. Hello everyone. So, I used to use copy to host my modpack ( Mine Of duty BO II ), but unfortunately, this site is going to close soon and i need another site/platform to host my modpack. On dropbox it generates too much traffic and my account gets cancelled every time, on google drive, the direct link is not working because it requires an manual confirmation because of the size of the pack and google drive can't check if there are any virus on it.   12. When i start up the server i get the following errors: http://hastebin.com/kerupakifi.css on start up, i'm trying to make the server be able to have the modpack w/ bukkit. I'm currently using Kcauldron (which is custom.jar here) which you use for modpack jars. (so that means that runs the Kcauldron.jar) but we get that error as stated above, is anyone available to help me out?
  13. Hi all. I have been playing technic for a few years, but finally got an account on the forums today becuase I encountered a serious issue trying to add bukkit plugins to my server. Im following this guide: I get to the part where I have downloaded the cauldron installer correctly, opened libraries, gone to the sf folder but its missing an important file called: trove4j Without this file it doesnt work.   14. I have no idea where to post this but fingers crossed this is the right place. I have made a custom mod pack, it it all works fines, but when I go exploring, sometimes I get a crash. Now I think this might be just loading too much at once and it crashes, which is pretty common. But I just want to be sure that is the problem and its not a mod loading in an item that crashes the game.   16. Hey all, so i've recently created a new modpack and wanted to share it with the community. I'm having an issue getting the pack to install correctly. Whenever I download and install the pack it goes smoothly, the pack downloads and shows that it installed. Thats great and dandy, but the pack didn't install correctly at all. I go to play the pack and vanilla minecraft loads up. I took a look at the directory folder for the modpack, and the Launcher unpacked the archive folder into the directory. So what it's doing is unpacking the zip like this /modpacks/Testmodpack/Testmodpack/bin...etc. Inst
  17. So I haven't updated my pack in about 4 months and I thought it would be a good idea to do so.I removed two or three and updated all that needed to be. I also updated the forge version to the recommended version. Just as I imagined, something went wrong and it crashes upon start up.   18. Someone please help! I've been playing UMS2 perfectly fine on my macbook pro for a week or two now to show them mods, so my friends decide to make a server on Big Dig. We can all connect fine, but when I'm in i can move for roughly 5-10 seconds (if I'm lucky) then my keyboard stops working. I can't jump, move, inventory, pause the game with escape, etc.- I have to press command+space to look up another program which automatically pauses minecraft then i disconnect or I can unpause, play for 5 seconds then repeat.   19. Hello! I am working on a new Minecraft Gamemode/Minigame, and I am using the Technic Platform for the Modpack that I have developed for it. I am planning to use TechnicSolder to manage the Modpack, but I am having some trouble setting it up on Ubuntu 14.04 (Running on Hyper-V with Windows Server 2012 R2 as the host OS). I have followed the instructions on solder.io, and have opted to use Apache instead of Nginx.   22. Hello! My husband and I have been playing Pixelmon plus a hefty amount of tech-y mods together on a private server. We recently thought we'd like to invite a few friends to come join us and thought of how easy it would be if they could load all the mods via Technic instead of manually installing everything like we did. We have been playing with these mods in this configuration for several weeks on Forge for 1.7.10 (Forge version #1217).   23. So, I just made myself my first modpack (PutPack). Everything seemed to go well, until i tried to download and play my modpack from the technic Launcher. It loads the assets and evrything, but it doesn't launch the game. It just closes and takes me back to the Tachnic Launcher. I also have a gut feeling that there is something else wrong so i would like to have someone else look at my mods because there are a lot of them. There will definitly be a problem withe the mods .   24. when i try and launch my custom modpack, it finishes initializing and moves on to postinitializing. however, as soon as it reaches this point, it just stops with a java.lang.outofmemoryerror. no crash, just Mojang screen forever. here's the pastebin of the console: http://pastebin.com/Xk4nE6Q7 i only posted about half the launch process and the error, i don't think the rest matters.   25. Dear Forum Members, I have been experiencing a problem lately when trying to put a modpack together. The problem is as follows, when I'm on the server, everything that gets typed in chat (by myself or console) has 6 "=" signs in front of it. I first thought this was a misconfig of me in McMyAdmin. But that is not the case because it also happens when McMyAdmin is not used. There isn't a single plugin, so that can't be the problem either.
