  3. Hey guys, I really need some help on my modpack for the Technic Launcher. My modpack is for 1.6.4, and inside my modpack.zip folder I have the following folders: bin, config, Flan, and mods. Now what happens is if I include all of the Flans content packs (which run just fine on the normal Minecraft launcher) I get the following error: Error unzipping a file for the following pack: Proteus Modpack. Error extracting file proteus-modpack-1.0.zip. Please consult the modpack author. Now when I don't include those content packs the pack works just fine and loads up. I suspect the reason is for this
  4. Hey Guys! I have a weird problem with Solder. I installed it very sucessfully and the Solder-Plattform is linked to the accounts but Solder Integration still says "This modpack does not match any names of your modpacks on your Solder setup.". Does anyone here had a similar problem or can help me out here? Thanks guys!

  10. I have only 1 modpack currently, the others I removed, yet when I attempt to make a new one, I receve the error: The name has already been taken. You are already over the limit of the number of modpacks you can create. The modpack name you entered has a slug that already exists. Thing is, not once have i ever had 5 packs active, so limit? the pack name that is in use, is a pack I had made, so I know the pack name, and slug, are in fact NOT in use, as I myself made them cease to be.. Is this just more mess from the "upgrade"?

Hello everyone, while trying to update the Forge versions of my two modpacks, the following errors occured after I was done with the update and tried starting the packs [02:34:02] [main/ERROR]: There is a binary discrepency between the expected input class ahu (ahu) and the actual class. Checksum on disk is d13c64ad, in patch 746fe971. Things are probably about to go very wrong. Did you put something into the jar file?   17. So recently, I made a custom mode pack. It was working for a while until I added Extra Utilities. When I would click on my map it would go through the normal load screen, but then say, "Shutting Down Internal Server..." And then crash. I Tried removing the mod but it still happened after that.   19. So I am trying to play Mianite Season 2 but it just closes randomly when I start it up. I have noticed that any pack on Technic updated to 1.7.10 does not work and just closes upon startup. I have had the same issues with Hexxit Reloaded and Ultra Modded Survival 2. I have my Java up to date at Java 8 and I have allocated my RAM to from 2 to 4 and still, the same issues. They work on FTB and ATLauncher but not Technic. Please help me! I want to play these packs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  21. Hello, I have been using the technic launcher for a while now with no problems but recently thought I would try some of the modpacks on the discover tab. When I click install on any modpack I will get the banner saying "installing mod: X.zip 0%". This will stay at 0% for roughly 3 minutes and then will disappear with no error message. I have tried disabling my antivirus and firewall because I have seen others with similar issues but this has not worked. Is there anything I could try to make this work?   22. So I am new to the whole mod pack thing. Recently I have been putting together a custom mod pack. I have one small problem, it loads in vanilla. I have triple checked all the mods, core mods, and forge, to make sure everything is the right version, compatible, and in the right folder. I am using drop box to host the pack. I have watched a lot of tutorials on YouTube and have read so many similar threads on the Technic forums. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!   23. I've started on my first modpack, Mechanized Magicks, but I've run into an initial problem. I set up my folder with bin and mods subfolders, added chicken core and NEI, had forge in the bin renamed modpack.jar, archived my bin and mods folders, then uploaded that to dropbox, changed the ending so it could be downloaded. Then I uploaded to Technic Launcher, downloaded it, and ran the pack. All I get is vanilla 1.7.10 with no NEI or Chicken Core. I feel this may be a simple problem but I'm stumped. Please help! (Tested both in client, ran fine.)
