  1. Currently, Particle Accelerators cause chunk errors and the following this the server often crashes. We are running Voltz 2.0.4 - hopefully someone has a possible fix to this problem? I'd like the players to be able to have something solid and advanced to work towards.
  2. I want to make a modpack for 1.2.5 I understand how to do it for 1.6.4+. All I really want to do is play tekkit classic with the newer version of nuclear control. I have it running on my desktop by just downloading the 3.1.3 server and swapping out the bugged version and same for the launchers client. But there small group of us (6-ish) and trying to walk them through %appdata% and things would be a pain. is there a pack all ready made or how do I roll togther a 1.2.5 pack (I know I need the right forge version)? Can anyone give step by step directions or point me to a pre-made pack?
  3. I'm trying to find out if I can build a reactor and use nuke controls or does tekkit still crash if I do? I thought there was a patch/repair for it does anyone have any info I tried searching for it and have found nothing? maybe it's been fixed but the last time (2 years ago?) I played tekkit I kept crashing the server if I tried to use a remote thermometer. Found what I was looking for: http://tekkitclassic.wikia.com/wiki/Thermal_Monitor I know how to make a 1.6.4 or higher pack but it's been so long since I tinkered with something older how do I rplace the broken nuke control mod then re-roll the pack? can anyone give step by step directions?

I start the launcher normally and run the game it dowloads normally too and runs properly but it doesnt even start (doesnt open the game window) and crashes, opens the launcher again.( I CANT RUN ANY MODPACK) I tryed everything, deleting its files at roaming, reinstalled JAVA allocated different amounts of memory, but nothing helps.   5. Hello Attack of the B-Team community, my problem is really difficult. I am suffering the well-known bug that makes a server crash when you try to ride a pterosaur while you're in morph. After I did it my friend's server crashed an wasn't available anymore. It now says:"Cant reach server" Approximately once every 20 minutes it is possible for me to reach the server. Then all chunks are gone, I'm still riding the pterosaur and the server crashes after 10 seconds. We tried everything to fix the problem. For example we killed the pterosaur and did a chunkfix. A common solution is to delete the affected player's "players.dat-file". Unfortunately the server is hosted by a big server hoster so we don't have those files. Does anybody know how to fix this bug?   6. Whenever I open Tekkit, the Mojang screen comes up normally, then a plain dirt block background, then the screen turns white. Any advice? Right im playing in my wolrd and ive built my smeltery and when i look at the controller block it comes up as invaild sturcture as sceenshot below the GUI looks like this I downloaded the tecnic launcher not long ago so i should be on the lastest patch and to note i cant run spacks texture pack because everytime i click to put it on the game crashes and shuts down

  12. I´ve got a big problem in my actual BigDig-World. There are a bunch of lightnings around my (wooden) house - it almost burnt down. No rain, no clouds, but lightning after lightning and they´ve not stopped yet. I have really no idea what that is, where it comes from, I beg to Notch it will stop somehow. I have no other mods loaded than the big dig - pack, I got a windows-7 operation system and a patchwork-computer. Don´t know if it maybe has something to do with that, I´ve really no idea what is wrong with this world. These lightnings are only around my house, nowhere else. I got there a Nether portal, that doesn´t function right (when I travel back, i spawn a new portel like 150 meters away - happens sometimes in vanilla too, so I don´t believe it was the portal), I got this magic fire-stuff-skull, fire-sulfur-spiky-things like 30 meters away, a bunch of Forestry-trees, may be that? Oh man, I have no idea, please help me or I will be the one beginning to believe in Herobrine...

  14. Hello community! I recently installed Optfine HD_U_D1 (1.6.4) for my AotBT client. When I started playing, I noticed there were a few strange visual bugs going on. The first one I found was that my right arm was missing, both in first person and third. However, I managed to fix this simply by morphing into something, then morphing back to human; no big deal. But I also noticed all of my chests are acting strange... All single chests appear to be missing half their texture, and double chests are missing their entire texture (except for the little latch in the front). This only appears to happen with vanilla chests. So, I was wondering, is there a fix for this? Should I use a different version of Optifine? It's not a big deal if there isn't any sort of fix, but any help on resolving this issue would be appreciated. (On a side note, I wasn't able to upload an image of the problem; the forums kept telling me, "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." [i tried using a jpeg, bmp, png, and gif]) *UPDATE* I just noticed that chisled glass appears like vanilla glass. This only happens with full glass blocks, and not glass panes. Also noticed that some mobs are missing body parts; skeletons don't have torsos. I'm likely to encounter more visual bugs, so any advice on the situation would be appreciated.

Yesterday I tried to update it. I first tested it on my computer, both server and client, and they work. So I uploaded it to dropbox, copied the right link (I know which), and updated the modpack page. But when I tried to update (in technic launcher) I got an error. I also try removing the pack and reinstalling, but I still got the error. So I rolled back to the version I used to play with my friend, but I still get this error! And in dropbox I clicked share>get link>right click download>copy link. For some reason it suddenly stopped working!   16. Hello! So I've been pretty interested in the B-team modpack and I decided to give it a go. I was fully expecting to just have to download a file or something, but it turned out that I had to download technic and yada yada yada. Anyways, I'm pretty new to Technic, and I was trying to play Attack of the B-team when it always failed downloading and a window would pop up saying: "Error: Could not create the java virtual machine" Does anyone else have this problem? I've tried uninstalling and installing the latest version of Java and restarting my computer but that didn't work. Can somebody help? My laptop is a toshiba with Windows 8 btw Thanks!
  17. Hi, my friends and I own an attack of the b-team server which has just worked fine until yesterday a bug or something duplicated the drops off a spider over and over causing massive lag. We already disabled mobdrops and tried to wait until all the spidereyes and string would despawn but once you are on the server you just fall through the ground whilst lag and 0fps until you et kicked after some minutes. Because that didn´t work we tried to load an old back-up save the drops are still there causing lag. What else is there to do? I really need your guys help. Thanks!
  18. Ok so last night a friend and I were on Tekkit playing on a server i made. Suddenly my house lost power for a few hours because of a storm. I woke up this morning to turn on everything after the power has been restored and my server is not working properly. Can someone please help? We have had a lot of time put into this server and i would be pretty pissed to see it all go to waste. I have listed below what my Command prompt is saying to me. I dont really understand it. All i know is how to start it and how to stop it. Thanks. ALSO i just tried to reload the mods. Re downloaded the sever and replaced the mods folder bin and config. Which worked and i got to connect to the server but as soon as i put the old world folder back in that has all the stuff i cant connect. Is the world folder corrupt? Please help.   19. Hi, So I haven't played Tekkit in quite a while, and the last time i played, I made an awesome factory. But, after the 1.2.9e update, I copied over all my worlds, and loaded one. The game froze for a moment, then returned to the menu. I tried loading it again, but this time, it crashed! It would stay on that dirt block screen, and not load, and when you clicked, it crashed. The first time I loaded the game, I did notice some ID conflicts the very first time i loaded the world. But, my factory was pretty awesome, and I would like it back! Thanks, KingofthePigs_
  20. I am trying to make a custom modpack, and when I add in industrial-craft-2.2.0.289-experimental.jar, it gets stuck on the Mojang Screen. This is a 1.6.4 modpack btw! When I take ic2 out, everything goes fine. I have researched this and see that it is about an ID Conflict, although I have compared all the .cfg and .conf files and none of them have any conflicts. I have waited up to 20 mins for it to work, and it has been stuck on the Mojang Screen the whole time. Hope you guys can figure this out. Thanks.   21. I am currently using an Attack of the B Team 1.0.9c server and just recently the "MapWriter" mod seems to have severely bugged out. The map quality was aces and had the records of everywhere I have had traveled, now (for everyone on the server) the map resets on login with horrible quality. Any help would be highly appreciated, thanks. [if more information is necessary, do ask, I am not sure what else is needed]
  22. So it downloads fine, loads... and then just closes. Doesn't crash, just closes. At first I thought it was still loading but no, it just closes every time. I think the problem is that the modpack.jar isn't the right version, could that be the problem?   23. I can't find any fix for this. I died on my server (I can't remember whether I was a clone or my real self at the time, pretty sure I was a clone) and ever since I have not been able to take damage, not even from block suffocation or starvation. When I died, I could tell something was wrong because it did the Sync mod character switching camera trick twice and it was all very buggy. I didn't lose my Advanced Genetics traits either. I assume I have to delete my player.dat but is there anyway other than deleting my .dat to fix this? I don't want to lose all of my map waypoints and morphs etc. Anyone know exactly what I will lose by deleting my .dat? (I know how to preserve in-game items and genetic traits) Also, if I have to, do I delete server side or client side or both?
  24. Help! I spawned in a Nether Dragon (by vanilla, no cheating or creative) and I'm trying to feed it raw fish. I have got it up to where there's only half a heart left, but it says "This dragon doesn't follow your commands." Am I doing something wrong? I'm new to this modpack, and I can't figure it out.
