  1. so ,im trying to finnd out on how to make it so when i update my custom modpack the only the files that are being updated is the new files not downloading the zip file all over
  2. THANKS FOR READING So I am creating a custom mod pack with a idea in mind to create a server for it later. Now I have gone through problems with unzipping errors but learned I accidentally put a bod into my forge modpack.jar. So I fixed that. Now more to the point. I click "play" on the Technic launcher and my mod pack begins to download and then boot up. Now when Minecraft opens to the main menu at the lower left it says 1.6.4. Which makes sense since I am running 1.6.4, but usually it will also say what mods are loaded if I am not mistaken. Also when I run single player the world seems to be the same. EX No oil from buildcraft, ToEnoughItems is not showing up when I look at my inventory, damage indicator seems to be non-exsistant, ect. So essentially I am running vanilla. So can anyone help me out on when I am setting up wrong in my modpack.zip? I have just "mods" and "bin" no "config" because I am to much of a noob to know what to do to use that folder and run my stuff in a forge client, but that a different issue. ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED Thanks in advance
  3. When I try loading a Custom Modpack, it said I needed DragonAPI 1.6.4, So i downloaded it and restarted my modpack, now it crashes and it says I am missing a Class file named RegistryEnum.class, but I don't know how or where to fix. Here is the crash-report: http://pastebin.com/wKbuzeti

  6. I've just made my own modpack a few minutes ago. Of course this being my first time making a modpack I have ran into issues trying to have it run. It states the following: "Error unzipping a file for the following pack: SinghPackTM error in opening zip file Please consult the modpack author." Help is greatly needed.
  7. Hey I am thinking about setting up an anarchy server with a custom modpack. The full thing would mainly focus around ICBM and explosions and blowing stuff up! Was just wondering if i was to create this, would any of yous be interested in playing on it?

  10. I've been working on a custom modpack the last few days, I've run it on the FTB launcher to work out the ID conflicts, dependency issues ,etc.. Once I got those issues done and at least got the game to load on FTB, I switched over to technic and the pack refuses to load. It doesn't crash it just loads vanilla. I dont know what is going on. I followed the advice on this post; to no avail. This is the first pack I've made and I just need someone with experience with this type of thing to tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to create a custom modpack for my friends (link for technic launcher is this http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/modpack-for-my-friends), the modpack loads fine (hosted on dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/s/b3h7g19bccvdety/modpack.zip), however it opens minecraft 1.6.4 usually ends up not responding so closes and goes back to the technic launcher screen. So I decided to create a hidden pack and when i did everything, it said "error downloading file." then I noticed that the dropbox shared link looks different now and wondered if that was the problem. Anyways i just want to see if anyone else is experiencing the exact same problem as me. And if anyone knows how to solve it.
  14. I am having an issue with my custom pack crashing. When in creative mode if you search for blue in the creative search bar and scroll down near the bottom it crashes. It only crashes if you go past the creative line that has the 'Random Thing's' 'Blue Stone' on it.   15. I am trying to download a custom modpack that I created and host on my own server. i have the most current version of Forge running in the pack. I have not had any problems downloading older versions of the pack, and the only changes from versions that download without any problems are mod updates. The download also fails at different percentages every time. any help would be great.

Ok, Im trying to set my update for my modpack and whenever it downloads the zip into the pack folder an error window pops up saying "Error unzipping a file for the following pack: Minecraft Survivalist IllegalArgumentException while parsing next element. I have never gotten this error before when I set my updates and I do not know why it has been occuring. i tried to search how to fix this but the results are short. Can anyone help me with this?   19. Hello guys, First time poster here so let me know if I do something wrong. Recently I made a 1.6.4 modpack with the use of the Technic Platform. I have gotten the singleplayer/client version working,but I am having problems making a server for it. This is the guide I followed and the files I used '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> . Also here is the error log I am getting when launching the .bat. http://pastebin.com/WPn1cLJX . Unfortunately I don't know how to code so only portions of the error log make sense to me. Hopefully someone here can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.   21. Hi all, I tried creating a custom modpack server and seemed to have numerous issues setting up. After removing the mods that seemed to be causing the problems (which on a feed the beast server had worked fine together), I still get error messages. Except this one doesn't seem to be mod related. The error I keep getting is: Does anyone know how to fix this? Or are any of you better at creating custom modpack servers then I am? Please help. UPDATE: I just noticed that I put Not Enough Items in the server mods folder (Derp), although now removing it, it crashes on startup now (in the past it loaded something THEN crashed) and now I get the following crash report.
  22. Hello Everyone! I have found myself coming back over and over to visit the wonderful forums here and see if anyone has responded to my previous posts. I realize there is a whole section to request a modpack, but I have wanted to team up with 1-3 people to work on a modpack of epic proportions. I want to learn, but am having a lot of trouble with compatibility and really want to turn this into a server as well. Mac or PC is fine, I run mac. If you're interested, please contact me ASAP! I also want to make this a YouTube series if you're interested. I've looked through forums to find who made the major mod packs, but found no contacts, but think starting small could be cool too!
