  1. So I'm no stranger to creating a modpack on technic platform, and believe I've done everything correctly. But a problem always seems to find it's way to me. I start up Minecraft on the launcher but the modpack starts up in Vanilla 1.12.2 as opposed to Forge 1.12.2 (the version it's meant to start up in). I've read that people have created a sub folder containing the bin, config, and mods file so i corrected that issue, but it's still happening.   2. I've searched this issue all over the internet, but none of the web pages had answers to solve my problem. So this is the situation: my server has over 120 mods and it doesn't want to start.   3. Ok so i got 16gb of ram. I set the launchers ram limit to 8gb. When i start the game the ram usage (as the task manager shows) is 2-3gb. After time it just gets higher and higher that the ram usage gets to like 12gb. And that causes discord to stop itself just to get more memory for the game And so i dont get why this happens
  4. Hello everyone, I'm encounting an issue with the modpack settings. When I'm trying to enter a direct link in the 'Modpack Location' setting, this one isn't accepted. My link is supposed to be a valid direct link from Github (available here). You can see more details in the included image. By the way as you can see, it makes the data from the inputs temporarily disappear. Thank you for your answers !

  6. I have an issue installing a modpack called Mythic [Kinetic]. Basically, I used to be able to install this modpack and play on it whenever I wanted to. Recently, I wasn't able to do so. Whenever I try to click install nothing seems to download. No mods, no configs, nothin'. Afterwards waiting for a minute or two I get the message "An error was raised while attempting to read pack info for modpack kinetic-mythic-modpack, build 4.0.3d; Read timed out. I would look if there were any logs for any problems but nothing shows up since nothin' is being downloaded. I would delete the pack and reinstall

This is the issue im getting, it just stops on an random part always on the ModelManager phase, not loading, this happens when loading random blocks, happened before on knightmetal block, and iron ladder from the twilight forest mod.   8. Three days ago, I started creating a modpack. So I downloaded some mods, uploaded them on server and did the modpack creating stuff. When I was done, It was time to click the Install button (in the launcher). The Launcher downloaded all the .zip files to cache folder, as normal. But then something Strange happened... The launcher started extracting contents from jar packages to the root directory. I Really don't know what is happening. The log looks like the installation was successful. I tried to restart the launcher and reinstall the modpack several times but it did not helped
  9. Alright, heres what's going on. I made my modpack, opened it, opened the server, used hamachi, jumped in, and i went through the creative menu to check out some of the mods, and i went to MC Heli's section and Theres no tanks in the tank menu, no planes in the planes menu, and no helis in the heli menu.   10. Hello! I have started a custom mod pack with these mods and whenever I load into the server I cannot craft or spawn non-vanilla objects and only vanilla mobs spawn. I have the gravestone mod installed, yet on death, I drop all items and no gravestones appear. Despite this, I can use NotEnoughItems for recipes and all items show up, vanilla and modded, when I use the /give command I cannot TAB and get other mod items through that. Whenever I attempt to spawn in a non-modded item it gives the error 'Item XXXX was not found.' I have looked up countless other places and all I can find is the
  11. None of the logs from the server show anything out of the ordinary, But whenever I try to join my server, I move around for about 5-10 seconds, and then it says a fatal error occured.   12. So, I updated the modpack, but I didn't like the new version, so I wanted to change the version of the modpack but no other version appears in the list.
  13. I've got a problem when I try to run Tekkit Legends on my laptop; it crashes. All the resources etc. load, the launcher closes for a while... Then reopens. I've allocated 3 gigs of ram, so I don't think that's the problem. Any help is appreciated, I'm lost at what to do. If you need more info about my laptop, please tell me! Every time I try to open the mod pack, it would show the bar on the bottom loading, then the launcher would dissappear like the game was starting, but then the launcher would appear again like nothing happened.   15. Right so I have absolutely no clue where to write or even ask about this because I believe this is a firewall or very 'light' connection issue that I must be so blatantly missing. For the past 9 hours, I have been frantically trying to set up a Technic modpack server (Minecraft version 1.7.10 - Based on a modpack called "The New Tekkit Classic") but haven't been able to have it work via my external IP address.   16. Whenever I try to load any modpack on Technic, including packs with just forge, it just crashes on startup no matter what. Most modpacks work outside of Technic, but none work in it. What happens is that I hit start, it loads all the way, then returns to the launcher with no errors in console or loading the start screen.
  17. Before I begin I must say that I am not the person in charge of updating our servers modpack, but I am looking for help to relay the solution! I am an admin on a Pixelmon server which recently has switched to the newly released Pixelmon Reforged. Since updating the pack to accommodate, our users have experienced the common issue of the assets loading, Minecraft not starting, then being taken back to technic immediately.   19. I've created my own modpack and followed the instructions, but whenever I open it in technic it loads as vanilla minecraft.   20. I'm having an issue with a custom modpack I've compiled, it just crashes on bootup. The modpack is 1.7.10. I'd prefer to refrain from linking it as it's private and I'd like to keep it that way.   21. I have an old minecraft modpack which I want to send to technic. After sent it to technic , I had this error: Error extracting a file for the modpack . The modpack is on 1.4.7. I don't know if on this version has something different. I've created all the 3 main folders (bin, mods, config ) and putted the forge with the name modpack .jar on bin. After sent it to a . zip file, I've sent it to dropbox . Please help me !

  23. Hi everyone! First forum post, here goes. So I've just created my first Modpack! I'm having an issue where, having made it and uploaded it, I download it from Technic Launcher and start it up. Initially it goes well, Minecraft opens in 1.6.4 as I had intended. But the game doesn't actually load up with any mods, despite the fact that there are loads in the pack (well, actually not loads, maybe ten or so). I was wondering if anyone could help me fix this. When ever I try to download my modpack it keeps coming up with; Error unzipping a file for the following pack: Adventurer's Wonderland Error extracting file modpack.jar Please consult the modpack author. The modpack.jar file is forge.universal just renamed to modpack.jar I am very confused why this is happening when the other folders are working fine when I tested the modpack before release.
