  1. Hello, I recently made a modpack called TJ ASWESOME'S Futurecraft. I have the mod folder I just can get it to realize forge is installed. whenever I load it, it just launches normal, vanilla minecraft 1.6.4. I have tried to get it but it won't work. I have downloaded the FORGE UNIVERSAL and renamed it modpack.jar and placed it in the minecraft folder (not in mods, not versions just the .minecraft folder) Am I doing it wrong? Thanks in advance!

  4. so my modpack has 5mb of memory allocated but it only uses like 700mb is there a way to fix this
  5. Everytime i open up attack of the b team i always get low frames and i set all my graphics to the lowest setting and use optifine and when i move it drops to 0 is there any way i can fix this

I am using the portable version of the technic launcher on mac (on an sd card) and this morning I was playing lapito's galacticraft, closed it, then I reopened the technic launcher a few hours later, and it only showed the official technic modpacks, but even they weren't downloaded, I check the technique folder, all the modpacks are still there, and the saves too. I don't know what to do. help apreciated

I wasn't going to have this modpack on Technic, but, I want to play with all the chosen mods on there just in case my friends want to join me at anytime. --- I've uploaded a different modpack before, personal like this one, and it worked out just fine. This one does have wayyy more mods so something different is definitely going on. Downloading the modpack is fine, it is hosted on Dropbox. However, when I try to 'play' the modpack, it loads a few things before Minecraft assets, then waits a bit, the Launcher disappears, and then the launcher reappears; meaning something crashed/is not loading right. So I am new to mopacks and I have no idea what I'm actually doing but I followed some tutorials on how to do it and I managed to create a modpack that I could run and my mods are in the folder for my modpack. The problem is that whenever I play the mopack in the Technic launcher it only starts up the vanilla version of minecraft and my mods are nowhere to be seen. I did check the modpack options in the technic launcer to see if I could see the mods there, in the folder, and I could, they were all there.... I don't know what the problem is and I would love some help.   9. Hey there, I am trying to put together a custom modpack for a group that has asked for one. Currently the mods list is Bibliocraft, Chisel, CustomNPCS, Decocraft, MalisisCore, MalisisDoors, MorePlayerModels, MrCrayfishFurnitureMod, Pam's Harvestcraft, and WorldEdit. It has been installing just fine, but as soon as I try to launch it, it crashes.
  10. Recently I created a modpack called Ultra180+. I went to go test my modpack and there were no mods. I went to go test it and discovered the mods were in the wrong folder. I was able to change the folder they were in to the correct one on my computer but I don't no how to make it so nobody else has to move the mods around.

I'm new to Technic, and I'm trying to join a server with a modpack that runs on 1.12.2, but when I open the modpack through the Technic launcher it says that I need Forge to open some of the mods. I downloaded Forge for 1.12.2, but you have to open it through the Minecraft launcher. Which means I can't use the modpack through Forge or Technic. I've tried looking through launcher settings to see if I could tell Technic to open the modpack with the Forge version that I downloaded. Doesn't work. Other people seem to get on the server fine. Is this a problem with me, or the modpack? Edit: I've attached a photo showing the messages I get when I try to use both launchers.   16. I have seen a couple of these floating around, but none of them seem to fit my use case, so I made one. As of now it will structure mods into proper zip files and repo folders. It will also allow you to insert mods and versions into the database, and update builds with the newly inserted mods. It will not upload to your server automatically, but it gives you a nice folder that you can upload the contents of, and it'll "just work". It calculates MD5s and updates them in the database for a nice and easy transition. As of now, it will guess the mod name and version based on the jar name. It discriminates names and version by a hyphen. Good Example: appliedenergistics2--rv6-stable-6.jar => name: appliedenergistics2, version: rv6-stable-6 Bad example: advanced-machines-61-0-1-jar => name: advanced version: machines-61-0-1-jar I plan on adding a override for this later on, and the program will run fine, but if you want proper names, name your jars accordingly! The program will ask you if you want to set pretty names. If you say yes, it will ask for a pretty name for each mod to insert. Otherwise, it will stick to the naming scheme like above. This program requires solder to run on MySQL, so please make sure you have a remote account ready for the database solder runs on. If you want to update builds with this program, you will need to know the build IDs. This is NOT a gui, you need to run it via a console.   18. When i put the mods in the server don't crash because of that, when i try to open I don't even receive a crash log, then i go to the last try log and it says that my port is already in use I used the default server port

  21. Hello, I am in the process of creating a custom server hosted on technic so I can play with some friends. It has taken me all day and I cannot figure out what is wrong with my modpack because it instantly crashes when launched via the technic launcher, yet I had no problems when testing it earlier on the vanilla minecraft client [with forge obv].   22. hHello! Recently, i have had a huge need to play the original yogbox. I guess i just need to feel the wind of oldschool again, no other pack has given me so much fun. Unfortunately i am not able to play it. I obviously downloaded it, but it just won't launch.   23. Hello there, Since I haven't got any luck of finding a fix or someone mentioning this issue I'll place it down right here. A few months ago I have noticed that whenever you're launching a Minecraft modpack from the Technic Launcher Minecraft suddenly hijacks all of the available RAM which causes to freeze the entire computer for 10 - 15 minutes before I'm able to terminate the process manually in Task Manager (Windows 10). Since I have 16GB of RAM in my pc I allocated 8GB of RAM to Minecraft (which should be enough for many modpacks) in the settings shown here below but no matter what is set in the Launcher Options seems to have any effect, it straight up ignores it all together. I'm out of ideas and in desperate need for a solution because this issue makes every modpack I have (small or large) unplayable at this point.
