So me and my friend have just downloaded original tekkit to play on my server and to start tekkit i need things like tin and copper according to youtube videos, I can see that there is tin and copper in the not enough items menu but when we have been mining all we have found is vanilla ores, Are tekkit ores harder to find i dont understand is there a problem is there none in our world can anyone help im stressing out?

Iv been trying to generate custom terrain with full support for mod ores but am having no luck. Iv tried the bukkit/forge mod plugin thing that can create custom terrain but it doesn't affect main world on server. I also want to create ore seams on the map. I do have thermal expansion installed if that helps at all.

So I am making a sorting room/storage room made from obsidian chests and dsu's, i need a list of everything a quarry will pick up so i can get all the stuff and sort it so i can start my quarry, thanks!

I've been wondering which mod brings ore such as diamonds and redstone closer to the surface and making them spawn more frequently. I've been looking through the mod list and haven't found anything. I thought this would be the best place to ask. Does anyone know?
