Minecraft In-Game Name

So im trying to allocate more ram to minecraft in the techniclauncher 1.7.10 pack and i set it to 14 gb out of my 16gb becuase i was getting annoyed at the lag and it still wasnt solved with that much ram.... so i updated java to the newest 64 one for my pc and that didnt work. i checked my control panel and system stettings advanced.... looking for some java_options or something but that wasnt there eiter so then i just cheked my snooper settings and found a bunch of jvm_arg.... there was 1,2,3,4,5,of them it looked like this (i would have put a screen shot but it said i could upload greated
  2. So here's the problem. When I open the technic launcher I set the RAM allocation to 2GB and the pack loads (good so far) When I am in a world however, it appears that the allocated memory is only 469MB and as it quickly fills up I get a big fps drop which then increases and drops again repeatedly even though it is set to 2GB and my laptop has 8GB which isnt used by anything else. I have included a screenshot of the allocated memory on the right and a screenshort showing the selection of 2GB allocated. My system specs are below. Thanks!
