  1. I can run vanilla perfectly fine. When I download Tekkit mod pack, I press play, it will show the "Mojang" logo... then crash to desktop. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time. ♥
  2. I'm using the Lay of the Land mod pack. Everything was working fine until I had a power surge. After that, I could not load my game. When I try to load it, it says "Loading World, Building Terrain" then immediately crashes to desktop. Any help would be appreciated.   4. Whenever I try to generate a new, or load an old singleplayer world, it gets stuck at "Building Terrain", I have left it run for a half hour, and it never manages to load the world. When I try to connect to a multiplayer server, it connects fine, however it has TREMENDOUS lag. It also tends to crash randomly with no error, straight to the desktop. Things I have tried: -minimizing all in-game options (render distance, smooth lighting, etc.) -allocating more RAM (incrementally, 5GB was the stopping point) -reinstalling tekkit with a clean launcher and .technic folders -reinstalling java -relocating and arranging tekkit files to be launched with the vanilla MC launcher (results in "a java exception has occurred" error when I attempt to launch). Error log: I do have a legitimate copy of minecraft (two actually). This does not occur with tekkit classic, voltz, hexxit, hack/mine, or vanilla minecraft. It DOES however also occur with the yogscast Moonquest pack.
  5. Hi all! I decided to make a modpack today for me and a friend today but I've run aground and I would like some help. Basically after solving a few errors that forge kindly let me know off, I run the game and it loads "MOJANG" but quickly crashed and reverts to the launcher. I know it somewhat works because I could access the main menu of the game after the forge error screen (Albeit not play the game.) I'm running Java 64bit and Windows 7.
