I have been trying to install Tekkit and Attack of the B Team but both installations return the same error (see picture). I have given the Launcher all the permissions in the firewall (Zone Alarm), and in fact all the mod files and some libraries are being downloaded correctly (as I checked in the .technic folder). But when it comes to the library in the error, the installations of both modpacks returns the same errors. I have been experiencing the same error also while installing Tekkit Legends, but the file whose download is failing is different (still from libraries.minecraft.net though). When trying to access http://www.libraries.minecraft.net manually, the page appears to be unavailable (ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED error in Chorme. The DNS lookup fails). I tried flushing the DNS and using Google's one (18.104.22.168 or 22.214.171.124) but the site still remains unavailable. Having said this, I think it's a problem of the minecraft libraries' server, but I'm not fully convinced, as I installed a fresh vanilla copy of Minecraft 1.8.8 today and it works flawlessly...anyone has any ideas or could help? I have attached a copy of the log file as well. EDIT: I solved the problem by coping all the libraries from the .minecraft/libraries folder to .techinc/cache. The installations finished with no problems (except for one library that I had to search manually on the internet) and everything works as it should now. techniclauncher_2015-11-07.log
Hello I've posted a new modpack for a server I'm setting up but whenever anyone (including me) tries to download and run the modpack we get error messages. (originally I had no issues with the pack until other people tried downloading it and got that error then after deleting my .technic and starting fresh I get the same errors) failed to download https://libraries.minecraft.net/org/scala-lang/scala-actors-migration_2.11/1.1.0/scala-actors-migration_2.11-1.1.0.jar please consult modpack author If you manually add that jar then it will pop up with a different failed to download message After doing some digging I realized that inside .technic/cache/org/scala lang all of the seperate folders in there are missing the jar files and if i throw my backed up scala lang folder in there it works fine .techniccacheorgscala-lang What can I do to fix this? its outside of the modpack folder so I cant just add those files to my modpack
