All of the tutorials on youtube seem to be in german, so I decided I should go straight to the source: The Technic Pack Forum! Could someone give me an indepth (or short) guide on how to create a gold chest farm? I understand how blaze and bone farms work, but I haven't been able to wrap my head around gold chest farms due to a lack of tutorials that I can understand.

I've been watching my ivy on the side of an island I've created, and it doesn't seem to be growing at all. Is there a way to farm this? Thanks
