  1. Hello there, Since I haven't got any luck of finding a fix or someone mentioning this issue I'll place it down right here. A few months ago I have noticed that whenever you're launching a Minecraft modpack from the Technic Launcher Minecraft suddenly hijacks all of the available RAM which causes to freeze the entire computer for 10 - 15 minutes before I'm able to terminate the process manually in Task Manager (Windows 10). Since I have 16GB of RAM in my pc I allocated 8GB of RAM to Minecraft (which should be enough for many modpacks) in the settings shown here below but no matter what is set in the Launcher Options seems to have any effect, it straight up ignores it all together. I'm out of ideas and in desperate need for a solution because this issue makes every modpack I have (small or large) unplayable at this point.

  3. Whenever I try to launch Tekkit Legends the launcher starts to download an update. After downloading, the progress bar says that it's "grabbing" files and then shortly after, it freezes. sometimes the progress bar reaches about 14% or 8% but usually it just stops at 2%. When it reaches this point I can't cancel it any way other than closing the launcher, which causes it to start over again next time i try to play. I've tried leaving the launcher open after it's frozen for about 2 hours, yet it still doesn't move. All the other modpacks i've tested download and play fine, this problem only happens with Tekkit Legends. Image for reference and/or proof: (the problem almost always makes it freeze at 2%)
  4. Ok so, i've tried everything, i've allocated more ram, removed more ram, redownloaded Tekkit Classic and the launcher, but nothing works. Everytime i load up my singleplayer world that has a ton of progress on it, i see one frame of the world and it's barely loaded (it's mostly snow particles) and i can hear the ambiance, but the lag is so bad i can't move at ALL. Please halp.
  5. As the title says, when I try to open the Technic Launcher for the first time it just hangs on the "Downloading Launcher Asset: Open Sans+... 0%" screen. I have tried rebooting my PC and reinstalled the software, and nothing seems to fix it. Any ideas? Specs: Nvidia GTX 970 Windows 10 Pro 64-bit 16GB Ram Latest Java 64-bit
  6. My mineccraft have a really strange problem, it freezes instantly right after i break the dirt block(the minecraft original dirt) and this doesn't happens when breaking other blocks.   7. Hello everyone, i recently got my tekkit classic server up so that i could play with a mate. Everything was working fine, server had no problems, i had no problems joining and playing while in my server. Until, when i logged into the server once, i played for about a minute and then my screen froze, and after 5 seconds or so turned into a white screen. I wanted to ask this because no other posts i could find had the same problem. HOWEVER singleplayer works fine, which is quite weird. It just happens everytime. i log in, play for 30 seconds or a minute or so, then everything freezes and the whole tekkit window goes white. I am using sphax pureBDcraft texture pack and a shader. But what really fustrates me is the whole of today and yesterday I could play fine. The first freeze incident happened when i tried to turn fog to fancy. I was aware that the "fancy" feature for fog was only available if my graphics card would allow it, and when i tried to turn it to fancy it froze, and after a few seconds turns to white screen. I turned fog back to normal, but still get the bug. I even deleted all the technic files off of my computer and redownloaded everything (tekkit classic, sphax, shader...). Again, singleplayer works but not when i join my server. My friend can join and play on the server fine. He also has sphax texture pack and the same shader as me. Thank you for reading
  8. So, I am making a new modpack for 1.7.10 and my client freezes after I make a world. It launches with no crash though the problem is creating a world. It doesn't seem to be freezing after I remove the thaumcraft from the pack. I'm using Thaumic Exploration too but it still happens after I remove the addon from the pack. I tried the same thaumcraft earlier with less mods and it just worked fine so I think it's conflicting or bugging with something perhaps? But then why the minecraft title screen is loading fine? OpenEye doesn't seem to be detecting it either afther the reopen.   9. Whenever I go near my base, Minecraft almost freezes completely and I cannot do anything. It took me 20 minutes to move less than 5 blocks. But if I go into the game menu (which takes ages) I get 30-40 fps. Help!

Hello, i've been trying to play attack of the b team for a while now and nothing works that people say, and would love to play it with my friend but it never works. it runs and starts perfectly but then when it gets to the mojang logo it just freezes and then crashs after 30 secs or so and goes back to the technic launcher. Ik you need the crash log to find the problem but im not sure how to find it. Java installed (Version 7 Update 55). aotbt version 1.0.10b launcher build 439
  11. Arfter a while of playing the mod pack my game will just freeze. It dose not crash or exit the game, it only freezes. It appers that it is only the screan the feezes becuse i can still hear in game sounds and the charater takeing damage. (edit) This usely happens when i am in a inv screen.
  12. Hello our there!!! I have put together a modpack in the technic laucncher, tested it with te native vanilla in technic launcher, and even got it to download into my PC. So ithought it was all working, opened it from technic launcher. It loads very long at the mojang logo, but I think thats OK because I have got nearly 90 mods installed. Then I wanted to create a world which has worked perfectly when testing on native vanilla. Now it stucks on the dirt background with "building terrain" or something. When I waited, it did work after some time (only once), but then the game itself was laggy, taking ages to open any (chest) inventory and building new chunks. Now my question is: How do I get to fix it (It´s a modpack for me and my friends making a server on nitrado)? Is there another solution than deleting some mods, because for the modpack it would be very nice if all mods could stay and I would realy fu ing hate it to redesign it over and over to find the perfect lag rate) (It is not because from my computer, because on native vanillia it has worked perfectly) Mod´s list: My Specs: Acer Aspire 7750G Intel core i5 2,3 Ghz 4 Gig RAM 64bit If you could write me back, there are some more infos: I´m probably going to delete artifice, and morebiomesxl (or sth like that) If I´m havingf any other expensive mods, please write me some of the most RAM-taking ones....
