  1. So after trying every thing I've seen online I cant seem to find a fix to the problem of when clicking play on a modpack the launcher 'hides' as it would do when the modpack starts but it then reappears within seconds and the modpack hasn't started.Sometimes when Minecraft is loading the mods java crashes when it actually opens. The final thing that loads in the launcher is installing Minecraft assets. Can anyone help or know of any possible fixes? techniclauncher_2017-02-04.log
  2. When I try to craft a item in tekkit, It sometimes doesnt work, I can put in the materials, but It shows nothing on the part where the result item should appear.
  3. Before I begin I must say that I am not the person in charge of updating our servers modpack, but I am looking for help to relay the solution! I am an admin on a Pixelmon server which recently has switched to the newly released Pixelmon Reforged. Since updating the pack to accommodate, our users have experienced the common issue of the assets loading, Minecraft not starting, then being taken back to technic immediately.   4. Hello, I need urgent help with this error. I have been playing without any problems for the past month, on the modpack: Pixelspark - Pixelmon https://www.technicpack.net/modpack/captainsparklez-survival-pack.15977 The pack recently required an update, and usually with this pack, updates do not work for some reason so I just uninstall then reinstall the up to date version. Today I uninstalled and could not install back as the launcher failed to begin installing and showed this message: "Error unzipping a file for the following pack: PixelSpark - Pixelmon Attempting to extract file captainsparklez-survival-pack-, but it did not exist. Please consult the modpack author." It also created the folders needed but they are all empty. I have so far tried, Downloading the server files from the link instead of the launcher itself. (The files did not match the default files created by the launcher so I was very lost. Changing the Pixelspark.jar file to a zipped file and putting into both the bin folder, and the mods folder of the directory the launcher created. I have thought to try renaming the Pixelspark.jar into captainsparklez-survival-pack- but this has created some trouble for me. If this would solve my issue please let me know and possibly clear it up a little. If anyone could get back to me as soon as possible with some resolutions that would be great! Thanks. EDIT: I have also thought to entirely delete the launcher and start from square one again, but I can not find it in the uninstall browser. Would just deleting the files work?
  5. I've made a nuclear reactor in multiplayer. The reactor is from big reactors, so it outputs RF. As visible on the image, I made a conversion setup but it is not working. The MFE is not getting charged at all, even though everything on the energy bridge looks fine and it's fully charged. What am I not seeing?
  6. Dear Community, We installed Tekkit Legends a while back on our server and everything has been working great so far. I unfortunately encountered a problem with the philosopher's stone though. I crafted one and I can use it to craft with it and to change gold to diamonds for example. But i cannot - for some reason - change blocks that are placed on the ground. For example dirt into sand or cobblestone. Other users on the server can freely do so and have no trouble with it, but for some reason it won't work for me. I set up the server and made no restrictions of any kind to the tekkit legends modpack. When I click on the block that i want to convert it even shows the item it would convert to in the top left corner. But after rightclicking it, nothing happens. There is the sound and everything, but the block does not change. If i give my stone to someone else he can change the block with no trouble, so my stone is working just fine in the hands of other players. I can also see the blocks change if they transform it, but not when i do (they can neither). We tried to unequip all the items from the inventory to make sure nothing is interfering. It still works for my friends, but not for me. I tried switching between all the different modes (line, panel, cube). I increased and decreased the selection with "V" and "strg+V". I tried to convert the blocks with "H". Nothing helped. Do you have any suggestions regarding this? I could not find anything by normal means. Greetings, Philip EDIT: Ok, so apparently I found the solution. For some reason i have to change the mode in utility inventory to adventure (even though i have been playing survival and not creative for the whole duration). I got curious, since it said i could change to adventure. After I did, the stone started working.
  7. I created a modpack called The Flare (BETA) (WIP). It shows up in the launcher just fine, I know it works outside of the launcher, all the mods work together, etc. It installs fine (after I spent waaay too much time fixing an entirely separate error) but when I go to run it...nothing happens. My other modpack (superserver pack) works just fine, I have no idea whats happening or even how to begin to fix it, but I'm sure someone more skilled than myself could easily install it and identify the issue straight away. Hi, I tried uploading a Modpack last night with around 119 mods, when I compressed & archived the files and uploaded them to dropbox, I put the download link into the "Modpack Location" section of the Edit Modpack. When I went around to installing it, an error came up with the text: "Invalid URL (url here) Please contact modpack Author" I've scoured the forum for fixes but nothing seemed to work, I mindlessly clicked through videos on how to install Modpacks and to no avail, none yielded my precious install. I'd much appreciated some help here as some friends and I want to try out the Modpack on our server. Thanks, Serst
  9. Hi! I read dozen of questions like this here, but nothing helped. I have Win 7 64-Bit, 8GB RAM and, especially for this problem, I've got Java 1.8.0_25 64-Bit. So here's my problem - like quite a lot of people here my laucher does not lauch Minecraft. It downloaded everything, installed too (I think), but when I push "Play" button it runs and after all preparations it comes back to launcher. :/ I don't know what to do, tried to read something in the log but I don't get it.   10. Hello my name is Noah and I was trying to create my very first modpack, I followed the instruction listed on the technic website and got to a point where I thought I had finished the pack. But when I play the pack, it just pulls up regular Minecraft. The pack is called Noah_is_a_New and it is in 1.7.9. Thank you to anyone who helps in advance.
  11. So basically I can run some modpacks but not the one I want to (Dungeon Realms). I have 64-bit Java and downgraded to the 1.8.0_25 one. I can launch some modpacks. The problem seem to be "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" http://paste.ubuntu.com/18455153/

  14. Hello Friends! I hope this is the right Thread... I made a new modpack today, everything was fine with some mods, I added much more mods for more fun. First I had 2 errors that I have to update the version of NEI and CodeChickenCore, but after that was done I had a new error. I attached a screenshot from the error and the log file. Please help...   16. I know there is other threads about this, but i could not find my answer. Lately I have been trying to create my own mudpack for me and my friends to play, and i have been getting 2 errors when i try to launch it. The most common one that appears is ERROR DOWNLOADING A FILE FOR THE FOLLOWING PACK (mudpack name). I have been trying everything to fix this problem, but i have not been able to fix it. Basically I had the technic launcher ages ago and I loved it but something went wrong (cant remember now) so I uninstalled it because I couldn't be bothered with it but now I have reinstalled it and I think the same problem may still be there, anyway there is a problem with it. When I click play on any game it says at the bottom grabbing, installing libraries etc and does everything right up until the part where it's meant to open the game, after grabbing and installing libraries the launcher just flashes then it goes back to what it was like before I clicked play. its probably just a simple problem thats easy to fix but for the life of me I can't find the answer.   18. My friend and I have been working on a modpack in the regular Minecraft launcher and everything was working just fine. So we compiled it into the Technic modpack format and posted it to the Technic Platform to download it. We installed it and pressed play, but nothing happened... The launcher would disappear like the game is launching, but then it would pop back up immediately and no trace of Minecraft could be found in my processes. Please help me, I'm so confused because it worked fine on the vanilla launcher.   19. Hello, I have tried over and over to load up the Blightfall mod pack however, it says i am only using 1GB RAM and i require 2GB. My PC has 12GB RAM and uses most of that for other packs. i have the same issue with a few other packs, can anyone suggest a solution. I have a 64-bit up to date Java and OS
  20. Hi I just recently installed tekkit and I wanted to try a bunch of different versions of it. however whenever I reinstall tekkit with specified version differing from 1.2.9g it doesnt work. I click "Play" and it closes and seems like it's going to run, and then the tekkit launcher just opens up again and the actual game didnt run. Any help?!
  21. Alright so Big Dig and Hexxit work just fine, but attack of the b-team, my custom modpack, tekkit, and tppi would get to the mojang screen and then send me back to the launcher. YogBox would come with the old crash report on screen though
  22. I run a tekkit lite server but I cant seem to get factions working properly on it. It's 1.4.7 version of minecraft and I have MCPC+ 1.4.7 R1.1. I have the 1.4.7 R1.0 versions of both the MCore and Factions plugins. When I do /plugins, "Factions" is colored green but when I do /f or /factions nothing happens. I have also tried running the 1.4.5 versions of the plugins but still no luck. Can I get some ayuda?
  23. When I tried to install AOTBT I clicked on it and then I clicked install in the bottom right corner. Nada. Nothing happened, and my friends said it was supposed to say it was downloading stuff but it does absolutely nothing for me... Please help.

  25. Hi, sorry to add to the already abundant supply of queries about BIOMES O PLENTY being used on servers but i've found nothing about 1.7.10 servers. So im using a simple forge based server (latest 1.7.10 version), loaded all the mods fine (can provide list if required) and all the mods work absolutely fine client side. However i've tried repeatedly to get BIOMESOP to work on generating the server and to no avail. To address the FAQs: I have the latest version of BIOMESOP for 1.7.10 (and have tried numerous other versions) On the newest version there doesn't appear to be a "replace generated biomes with BIOMESOP biomes" I have tried on the server notepad document (previously server.properties) with: generator-settings=BIOMESOP level-type=DEFAULT generator-settings= level-type=BIOMESOP generator-settings=BIOMESOP level-type=BIOMESOP i have also tried copying over a BIOMESOP world from single player onto the server files, it keeps the generated chunks but then generates vanilla biomes beyond that. The fact that the client is able to generate BIOMESOP worlds on single player leads me to believe that the mod works fine but something serverside (probably configs) is stopping it.
