I've had my server for roughly 3 weeks and after experimenting with moving it to another computer it stopped working(i copy and pasted the world on a usb and tried to run it on an old laptop which was on the same network). I tried making a new server and copy pasting the world in there but I get the same error. I'm posting my crash report below, if you know how to fix this problem please share. ---- Minecraft Crash Report ---- // Don't be sad, have a hug! <3 Time: 2018-02-25 13:14 Description: Exception in server tick loop java.lang.NullPointerException at St
So I have an acer Aspire V3-575G and I installed Technic to play Tekkit Classic Reborn. I ran it with 32 bit java and it loaded in about 5 minutes and when I tried to play gave me the java out of memory error. I installed java 64 bit and the load time increased to about 20 mins and it was mostly stuck on reloading resource packs. The game loaded up and was exceptionally laggy. I ran default minecraft with both and the 64 bit again was much slower. Yes I made sure to allocate more RAM to the 64 bit java.
I have a modpack that works fine with new worlds, however, with my old world that I would like to keep running, the pack is reluctant to run. Whenever I open the world, the internal server crashes. It displays an error; "Shutting down internal server." and goes to a screen that says "Connection lost: A fatal error has occured, this connection is terminated." And quits to the multiplayer screen. The game does not crash, so there is no crash report. Latest.log seems to be the only log that contains any useful information. It says something about a json file that is corrupt on line 7 column 134.
To the admins/mods; I know you are all working on the forums here, and I thank you for all the hard work you guys have put in. I was kind of unsure at first, but I'm liking the new forums more and more as time goes on, I think in the end the change will totally be for the best, and I'm grateful to you guys for going to all that trouble to spruce up the forums. I have a suggestion though. (You've probably already thought of this, but I'll post it anyways on the off chance you haven't/to draw attention to the idea.) I feel like it would be helpful to the overall state of the forums i
