  1. Hello, I recently made a modpack called TJ ASWESOME'S Futurecraft. I have the mod folder I just can get it to realize forge is installed. whenever I load it, it just launches normal, vanilla minecraft 1.6.4. I have tried to get it but it won't work. I have downloaded the FORGE UNIVERSAL and renamed it modpack.jar and placed it in the minecraft folder (not in mods, not versions just the .minecraft folder) Am I doing it wrong? Thanks in advance!
  2. Okay, so when I have my java installed the technic launcher won't open at all, when I delete java from my computer, the technic launcer launches, and then I can install java. Altough, when I use java I can only use 32bit, and then the game feels laggy and I can't have much fov, I have a 64bit os, windows 10. when I try to launch a mod pack in this case tekkit \ "The 1.7.10 Pack" they just won't launch.   3. So basically, after a new update came to PixelSpark the modpack hasn't been able to load on my technic launcher. It has 3gb of RAM allocated and its on Java System 64-bit. Basically what will happen is, I click "Play" on the launcher and then it will start up minecraft. Then after a while it will go to a black screen and close. Then the technic launcher will open up again. This is really frustrating considering I don't understand computers and coding. Any help would be greatly appreciated.   5. I have been trying to set up a modpack for me and my friends to play on. I set everything up which (to my knowledge of how to do this) appears to be done correctly. The pack installs fine.   6. So I had technic launcher for a while now and for the most part its worked fine. I downloaded the 64 bit java so i have 3gb set for it and everything was just fine. Then i updated my computer from windows 7 to 10 and once i launched the launcher and tried to play a mod pack it would launch and then go right back to the launcher.   7. So I installed tekkit launcher then I installed the the tekkit classic modpack. When I when to start it the launcher dissapeared and i waited and the launcher just came back up.   8. I placed a few chickens in a single player world, they started breeding, and before long, literally TWO THOUSAND OF THEM have spawned. I can't even get near the horde without massive slowdown, so killing them all isn't really an option. I tried doMobSpawning false, t/killallmobs, t/killchicken, t/butcher, whatever and nothing has worked. Is this part of some obscure hexxit mod, or just a glitch? Any help would be greatly appreciated because I can't even build on my world without being like a 100 blocks away.
  9. Heyo! So I downloaded the launcher, and tried to play Tekkit Legends or whatever it's called, but I could never load a world. Said it needed more memory. I looked up the issue, and (as was recommended) I downloaded Java 64-bit, because I do indeed have a 64-bit system. Except that if there is a 64-bit Java on my computer, the launcher won't launch. I've tried running as admin, but that just brings up the little "Launch as Admin?" pop-up, then a brief loading sign on the mouse, then nothing. It never even shows up in task manager.   10. Hello! I have a private tekkit legends server that I play on with my friend. We built a quarry and there seems to be some sort of bug, I connected 3 stirling engines and the quarry receives energy only from one. I have also tried connecting the engines with kinesis pipes and the total energy received by the quarry is 9rf/t and the output of each engine is 3rf/t. Am I missing something or is this a bug?
  11. When i launch any modpack, it closes the launcher, then the screen is blank before it reopens the launcher. I have windows 10 and it worked before updating. I run compatibility, as admin. reinstall technic, reinstall java, and have reinstalled all graphics card drivers, upped the ram in the launcher to 2.5/3 gbs, java parameters, disabled stencil buffer. Any help or an update to the launcher would be nice. BTW there are no crash reports. my PC specs are not too good, but like i said it worked before windows 10, here are my pc specs. Inspiron 3520 Intel celeron cpu b820 1.7 ghz dual core 4gbs

  14. So, I just made myself my first modpack yesterday (YaoPack). Everything seemed to go well, until I tried to download and play my modpack from the Technic Launcher. It loads the assets and everything, but it doesn't launch the game. It just closes and takes me back to the Technic Launcher! it starts up, but with no mods/forge installed!   15. SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM! So the prolem is everytime i try to play a modpack that i installed it will open the minecraft screen like it should then it does the mojang screen, but theen instead of going to the starting screen it just returns to the technic launcher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have searched everywhere for a solution and have yet to find one that works. So I just got a new computer and I downloaded all the stuff I would need for gaming (Minecraft, Steam, Origin, Feed The Beast, ATLauncher, and the Technic Launcher) Everything but the Technic Launcher worked. I double click it and nothing happens at all. And no I don't have a .techniclauncher folder because it has never been opened on this computer. Please help I just want to play!
  17. Hello! My new custom modpack (YaoPack) doesn't install with the right download link I set for it in the Technic Launcher! The old link (of which the launcher uses) is removed since a few hours back, but it still tries to download from it even though I clearly have set a new updated link in the modpack settings! I've been waiting for an hour now and I can't figure out what the problem is. Please help me if you can, thank you. <3
  18. Hello! My new, custom modpack (YaoPack) won't install with the correct link. I'm 100% certain I have used the right link, and I have updated the modpack-edit-page many times (since yesterday actually). It still won't use the new, correct link. It still tries to download using the old one, which I removed. This leads to an errror in the Technic Launcher. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

  21. I added all my mods and i am able to join the server and my friend is. But once i try to restart the server i get n error about "version check failed" and then nothing happens and the server never starts

  25. So I started throwing a few mods into Tekkit just so I could have a bigger world with my friends. I got everything to work client side, but for some reason the server crashes every time I try to start it up.
