Tekkit Server Working?

*sigh* so as with all things minecraft forums are huge with thousands of posts about different problems. I read over some and tried some searches for my problem and I can't find anything.

Pretty sure my issue is basic, but here we go:

I downloaded this great pack after reading the PC gamer article. I have the newest updates of things...they make it all really easy anyway.

Below there are two sets of file errors. One of them is for the main server that I already have going and the second set is when I tried reinstalling just following the directions of the install guide.

With the main server, I just extracted all those .rar files in the mods or plugin's directory (into the directory they resided in) which seemed to allow the server to at least launch

So when we're playing the game seems to have some new stuff, the mini-map...Uhh some general tweaks maybe...But the majority of the game is not there...We launch the game launcher in Tekkit mode (me and my little nephew) but all those cool items in the Inventory screen are "Not available" when I try to give them to myself (when I turned on Ops, to test).

Now when I reload the game in Technic mode and launch an SSP - the items work just fine...

Do all those new items work in SMP? I know things like Mo-Creatures don't work in SMP...

But what about everything else? Are my errors causing the problem?

Basically my server doesn't seem to actually have Tekkit running on it...Is that accuracte?

Okay! So I tinkered around some more and read a post on the first page that got me thinking.

I tried again and this time I changed the run.bat file to read the java 7 installation I have and BOOM the server loaded up with what I assume is almost everything it needs.

I noticed that Balkon's WeaponMod

Is NOT working in multiplayer. Is this correct? it is listed on the Tekkit Wiki page....

Anything else not work automatically that I should know about?

The single player technic has 48 pages of recipes...and tekkit has 42 pages ... :(!!! What else are we missing out on!? :D

If you were able to see, Technic and Tekkit are completely different. Technic has mods that Tekkit does not and Tekkit has mods that Technic does not.
