Greetings everyone, it's your pal Gucci, and i'm looking for some help testing my modpack that is soon being turned into a server. My computer seems to run it fine, but I would like some help testing it with other people. I have a server up for it that comes when downloading the pack. This is one of the alpha versions of this pack, so there may be a few problems, but that is where you lovely people come in ! The pack is called Trouble In Twawki Town, and it can be found at this address: https://www.technicpack.net/modpack/trouble-in-twawki-town.1193167 . I'd love to hear anyone's imput on the pack, including players, modders, server hosts, and anyone else that would like to help out.
P.S. The pack runs alot better when allocated 4.5+ GBs in Java settings, so thats what causes the initial lag.
im looking for testers and players for my first modpack on technic called Ryong Modpack. it is a civilization building modpack with mods like chisel, carpenters blocks, mr creyfish furniture, decocraft and custom NPCs, it also includes flans mod with added packs, cars and drives, clay warriors and some fun stuff like animalsplus and magic clovers. extra utilities, railcraft and ender IO are the more techy mods. the only mod i couldnt get to work is microblocks. im also looking any suggestions.
it seems stable when i up loaded the last update but sometimes it crashes and im still very new at reading and understanding crash reports. if you would like to help me out it would be greatly appreciated. if you are looking for a big building modpack please check out mine and see if its to your liking.
Also is there a place to post a crash report if im stuck and need help? let me know. thanks much!!
Hey guys Thanks for Reading this!
This is a known minecraft problem from before, I think it just maybe the version of minecraft attack of the b-team uses
this issue is I get :
[sEVERE] Reached End of Steam For xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
like the previous versions on this bug it would only be thrown to the server when someone ping tests the server from minecraft client
its really not to much of a problem but it may cause a bit of lag everytime its thrown for people already on the server
I am running a Startup Script :
-xmx3G -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:PermSize=128m -xx:MaxPermSize=256m -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:+UseLargePages -XX:LargepageSizeInBytes=4m -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:ParallelGCThreads=1 -XX:ConcGCThreads=1 -XXUseAdaptiveGCBoundary -XX:+AggressiveOpts -XX+TieredCompilation -XX:+UseCodeCacheFlushing -XX:-UseGCoverheadLimit -XX:+UseNUMA -XX:+UnlockCommericalFeatures -XX:+FlightRecorder -jar BTeam.jar
using JMV Mission Control (-XX:+UnlockCommericalFeatures -XX:+FlightRecorder ) to tweek setting
this Start up script (only use if you have LargePages) has solved 90% of my problems......, the only 10% is the end of steam issue
I'm making a technical modpack, and some of the mods may conflict, so I'll need to generate config files. I want to run the pack locally on my computer before uploading and adding to technic. The tutorial I watched told me that I should test, but not how to. Do I do it via the vanilla launcher, or the technic launcher?
NB: The conflict is a biome id conflict (BOP and Twilight Forest).
