'Kay. I must note that all ForgeLiquids are hardcoded, and cannot be Sphax'd. Also, water and lava will be default unless you install Optifine. When we get 1.5, this will solve all issues. :)

I believe that 1.5 is not coming for a very long time. Resetting the map will piss me off. I am against resetting a map when most of the features a new version offers is already possible via the mods we have. Having to start off from new every 1-2 months sucks. Especially for those of us who can only play on weekends. I for one am completely against resetting the map until a major consensus of players agree. Lets make this like the TBR maps of old. We have only reset because of these two reasons: nuking of world, hurricane corrupting world, switching to a modpack from tekkit, switching to tekkit lite from classic. Until the players want a reset I think we stick with this map. screw 1.5

Updating to 1.5 shouldn't really affect the server - mIDas can cover any new IDs. We've already had this discussion, and everyone agreed that they could just use Mystcraft or go to a different area to get new resources, and just keep IDs as similar as possible using mIDas etc.

What new resources? Quartz? Lets just nuke the fucking nether and use nether quartz. Other than that I guess so... but we are halfway done with a mid 1.4.7 build of the modpack. Lets at least get this done before we even look at updating to 1.5. Also Andrew and me are updating some mods and possibly adding new ones to the server.

Ysharma, stop being so angry. We're likely going to update to 1.5; if andrew says so.

I cannot see how it matters whether we update, just so long it doesn't commit mass genocide on items. Also, Quartz is nether quartz...

It really doesn't matter, Andrew is the Server Owner, and therefore the ultimate authority on this manner. Our squabbles are meaningless.

I apologize if I seemed like a jerk there, I am seething in the wrath equivalent pit of fire ants and liquid lead.

Sorry Im pretty pissed. My launcher mysteriously stopped working, I've tried everything. The only other person who had the same problem as me was told to downgrade. the modpack wont be compatible and i refuse to downgrade. i have gotten no help, but over 100 thread views. It is day 3. The modpack build should have been released by now. Cant do that if my fucking launcher wont work.

EDIT: Fuck. Server uptime is 35% This may be one of those challenges we have to overcome, but right now we are in deep shit. Fuck. I hope we can make it through this.

So... Ysharma's Technic is dieing/being retarded being a motherfucking retarded dumbass dead bitch, the server is down/broken offine for nearly 3 weaks now, and the site seems to have made no progress that i can see has had no progress. is it just me or are things are looking bad right about now?

Delete your entire .technic, your whole modpack. The entire thing shouldn't be in .Technic, as 'Drew told you not to.

You can try eradicating the launcher shortcts, and uninstalling it completely. EVERYTHING TECHNIC. Except your save/texture packs.

I'm far from computer literate but I can usually get stuff to function, although I've never ever used a Mac.

Update:

First beta build if uploading.

No mac version for now.

It is very very very beta. DId not update old mods, did not have time. Did not even open once or bugtest. Added a change log inside the zip. While installing player api I had to override a class file, so I have no idea what will happen.

I like the logo and background of the pack in the launcher - it makes it look awesome.

EDIT: Shame the modpack crashes on startup though...
