Non Existant Modpacks

Recommended Posts

So, after downloading the new launcher on the other computer (This one is a Windows 7 running 64 bit computer, if it's any help it runs norton as an antivirus software but I don't think it's norton blockiing) I originally get all modpacks showing up but with "Loading..." under them permanently. After attempting to load on I receive a "Failed to find mod pack: Tekkit Lite" error, so I restart the launcher. Now, and several restarts later, even after a complete reinstall there are no modpacks at all showing up, everything is "Add new pack". Can't add the core ones and Tekkit Lite is the one I wish to play.

Help..?

Here's my log:

It's managed to fix itself, and I've honestly no idea how so I'm sorry if I can't provide assistance to anyone else. Just look for the launcher asking for a directory to install in.

What wen't wrong is that it failed to connect to the Solder API which is what all the official Technic Mod packs use and require. Norton is most likely blocking the launcher or the solder API server was down.
