Why can't people connect to my server?

Recommended Posts

Two of my friends tried, and I tried from a different location, but nobody can connect to my server.

I've port forwarded port 25565 on TCP to my local IP (192.168.1.4) and I've let 25565 through my PC Firewall, but it doesn't let me connect.

My internet IP is 98.71.43.145.

Here's my server.properties:

Please help, if there's anything that's there to be fixed.

try disabling the windows firewall and having them try a connection, also any other firewall you may have installed, then if you have multiple firewalls bring them back up one at a time till one stops the connection. if with the firewall down they are still unable to connect then double check your port forwarding in your router and make sure your pc is set to have a static ip. also if you have multiple network adapters you may want to check your priority settings for them.
