silvad
hey there! here is my config: http://dragon-scale-studios.com/imaga/index.php/main/image/bcddf476a10fa41eb1c467e50d82cf6c.jpg im not getting any power in the oxygen compressor neither the oxygen collector... the wiki says that I gotta connect the power cable into the black square, but, the output (oxygen pipe) only "goes inside the machine" in the black square. either way, nothing works... what am I missing? (if I make myself clear) thanks! and im using the recommended, stable version! PS: the refinery works fine
weirleader
you're right that it's the oxygen pipe that goes into the black square (and it's pretty obvious when that's the only side that connects). my power works just fine, however. Are you sure you have power in the conduit? (I know that's a dumb questions, but it's all I can think of) have you tried powering with a Redstone Energy Cell, just to see? EDIT: Of course, I just realized I'm using 1.1.5, not the Recommended version.

weirleader
OK, just ran an old 1.0.6 world to give it a try and no problems... just to make it quick, I dropped a Redstone Energy Cell next to an Oxygen Collector and it powered up instantly. Side didn't seem to matter, either. Can you share a screenshot of (a) the connection between the Energy Conduit and the Oxy Collector, and ( the GUI of the Oxy Collector? silvad
ok. i found the issue. the "redstone energy cell" wont send energy to the other machines and, im gonna try and figure it out why
weirleader
your other machines ARE getting energy from the Redstone Energy Conduit that I see in that screenshot, above?
silvad
only the ones that were close to it. i put it like this and it seems to work fine: "http://dragon-scale-studios.com/imaga/index.php/main/image/516a260a40e9c471c0b8b50a6be4a1e0.jpg" and i looked into the wiki: " as they only transfer power in one direction" thanks anyway =)
weirleader
well I was wondering if you had the conduit set to 'orange' coming out of the Redstone Energy Cell (orange = output). I've forgotten that detail a few times and wondered why power wasn't flowing from the REC.
silvad
every side of the REC looks red... anyways, im trying to figure out how to "just output" power
weirleader
here's what I'm talking about, though it's with a texture pack... but it should still give you the idea. Power out from the left REC and into the right REC. (note the colored ends where the conduit attaches to the cells) http://imgur.com/fHl4ITe
silvad
god. had no idea that i could change the cables thing color... btw, is there any difference if I set the output to 100 MJ/t ?
weirleader
aha! That's important. right-click with a wrench at the ends to change color (blue = input to machines, ect.; orange = output).
silvad
already got that = ) now just wandering, in the REC, does it make any difference changing the MJ/t? (the config inside the machine) Thanks!!
weirleader
I don't know... I mean, I know the idea behind it, but I've tried limiting inflow/outflow as a means of making sure the cell is always full (e.g. less going out than coming in) but it never seems to really work. But maybe I just didn't set it up right. Ultimately, it's supposed to let you fine-tune your power output. But I have given up messing with it; I just leave it on full-blast.
