What this game needs.

I am sick of having turrets and nukes and all of that and once you have all of that it really does nothing but defend things other people most likely already have, so this game needs some mods where you can invade other people with soldiers and things like that. Once you go to the moon as well, the game is really boring, or some mods where your work actually pays off and it's useful. So, one mod that would be cool is the dayz mod where you have to leave home to go and get some fresh water, I added that mod and the game is so much more fun and adds a challenge like having to get water or you die from dehydration and mobs are a real threat now. So who agrees with me say something in the comments and if you don't just do not say anything bad like my last post I made. I find it funny how my game works fine and none of my posts are for help for issues.

The old one is dead so, I will not look at it anymore, if you want to its yogbox needs to update.

Sorry the link was a scam and I got rid of it, one of the staff told me that it was a scam so I brought the link down here too.

What prevents you from just having an infinite source of water in your home that you drink from?

Well, the problem is that this mod pack was always based around being able to play on a raiding server. That way, you built machines and missiles that would enable you to blow up other people's bases. I have always found this mod pack to be pretty bland  in terms of singe player content.

This is one of my largest issues with the new updates. They're so unstable and don't include mechanism, so everyone just uses the 1.5 version.

Well, here is the thing, water bottles in the game do not replenish thirst. (Took me 5 times to realize that.) And having an infinite source will give you dirty water and does damage, such as poisoning slowness, and nausea(Maybe a few more.) You have to find the water bottles that are in the mod, and when you get damaged, you do not just turn the difficulty to peaceful and regenerate, you need a blood pack to get back to full heath. (As in from another player, mobs, or the bandits this game has). So an infinite water source will not work, believe me, I tried. This is just my opinion, I give this game more mods that make it so you always have something to do, I am trying to find a mod that makes this like state of decay, a fun zombie game that you need to get food and such like that to your other survivors and the game goes on even if you leave, it's based on your clocks time. I did also say fresh water so to get that, I have no clue besides finding it, maybe a filter or something, I will look it up. Hope this long paragraph changed you mind. So the blown up buildings and remains make it look like a battle field happened. So really the only thing that can "save" you is going to the moon which I think zombies spawn up there as well. If you understand this now, great, if not, I will explain some more.

I've always felt that minecraft needed more DLC and In-app-purchases. Seriously, let me buy diamonds for a buck a piece.

EDIT: In all seriousness though, an apocalypse-survival-style modpack where one or a few players have to move from place to place fighting against ridiculous odds to survive long enough to get to the end or some such goal would be fun. (Something along the lines of the slime-scourge in that one snapshot forever ago when they introduced flat worlds but neglected to nerf the slime spawning rates in them. That was fun.) But I've really never looked around much for a pack that had that sort of gameplay. Those I have seen were... less than what I wanted,

Maybe I'll have to make a pack or something...

So Valkon, I said this because it is not fun when you have whatever you want. I have a fleet of space ships and this gets boring when you do not have to do anything, even on servers in a small force field. I also had a test, it took me 12 hours to get what I wanted, then with these mods, it took me a whole week since I had more to deal with. Even worse then players.

Like I said, sounds more annoying than fun, but that's just my personal preference.

Really though, I'm thinking of this in terms of Voltz; if it were in a pack more focused on mobility and survival, perhaps Hexxit or even Attack of the B-Team (though there's hardly a shortage of things to do in those as it is), then I'd probably find it more interesting. However, Voltz for me still falls under the industrial type packs, which have more of a focus on building up and expanding one base (or multiple connected bases) to its maximum effectiveness.

But like I said, as it is having something like that in Voltz would just be more annoying than fun to me.

Makes sense, but I am saying that it adds a challenge as well, if you are stuck holding off zombies from killing you, it will take a lot longer to be able to get bored of this game, I also added custom npcs to this and made a giant world war 3 on an end of the world map, so it's a rebellion against the soldiers who caused it, the mods I am adding made it possible to do that. I am looking up some robot mods to make them work for me. So really, I turned voltz into a really weird, messed up zombie invasion, end of the world, future warfare, thing, I made this all messed up and turned this pack into chaos.

And Valkon, I was just saying mods that make the game so they're are more mobs besides the default ones, (zombie, skeleton, creeper, spider, etc.)  I am not saying that certain mods should be added, just ones where neutral mobs are better then zombie that you can walk away from, or skeletons that have about like a 20% shooting accuracy. And then skeleton fights, start like this, "Hey you! "You suck at aiming!" Take that back, now!" "No." Fine then, ha hit you, now what?" "Oh, it's on now!"

Honestly voltz is boring after  "I can blow up anything and go anywhere." It may be a tech mod but its still Minecraft. I would love to see chisel in this pack because well, Building is fun. After making hundreds of machines and items I just use them to start building anything because I have the resources to build everything. I would line the floors of my fancy new home with marble. Any ways,  perhaps it is time to stray away from being centered on Ue to make It fresh. If anything near the original suggestion of this thread was added to make things interesting again, than that may have to happen.

Well, I got a map with custom NPCs and Dayz and now I have a zombie defense game. I will try to record the invasion and post it here, but sadly, all my pigs are dead, zombies kill them now. I made a sniper in a tower so when the zombies try to swarm in they get shot. So, I might just make the pack myself like the whole Yogbox thing, if it works, I got a virus on my computer and had to erase everything so I might make that pack again as well. So if people can post some mods where it adds weapons like Balkan's weapons mod, or something like that. It would help, same with future warfare mods, skins, or even just weapons, anything that involves invasions, just slap it in your next post. It helps. File downloads, links, anything, but it must be either on Planet Minecraft, Minecraft forums, or some other trusted site, just stick with the two that I said.

Oh, that just came out of no where... Well, I might re-make the Yogbox mod pack I said before and I will make the Voltz one, I will also get a Youtube camera or the camera app on my computer. To show what these packs will have.
