Ok, so I've looked through the common errors pages and tried a lot of things, but not much hs gotten me farther. Here's the deal: I have a Mac, and NEI will not work because it is stuck in recipe mode. I found all .cfg files but i have no way of opening them. How can i open the files to edit them?

So everything is awesome so far except Too Many Items. For whatever reason it will not add items to my inventory. Anyone know why?
