if you go to the launch.bat and edit it, you can change how much ram it uses. tekkit servers are automatically set to use up to 5GB ram so if you want to change this you can. to change this just set -Xmx3G to -Xmx512M and set the -Xmx2G to -Xmx512M as well. this will tell it to run at a maximum of 1024MB RAM. the performance may go down but the RAM usage will go down. hope this helps.

i figured it out we found the incinerator was doing it. everytime it destroyed something it would damage us

there are no mobs there what so ever and there are others there too

EDIT: the damage only takes place in a 11*14*9 area going from lvl 96 to lvl 103 if that has any relevence

Title: why am i taking random damage? Version: 3.1.2 OS: windows 7 Java Version: java 7 Description of Problem: i am walking around my house and i just randomly start taking damage. i dont have my nulcear reactor running at all and i dont ever die from this damage. can someone please help me as it is very annoying. the factions plugin is not making a config file! ive tried 3 different versions of factions and none work. please help!
