so i restarted the computer just in case also, now it works, thats some strangeness just there many thanks for the help guys

problem still persists

i think yopu can do both, might just uninstall tekkit and reinstall and start a fresh hopefully that will sort it

a pump to start pumping oil, only using redstone engines and switches. even tried setting it up identical to the tutorial video sjin from the yogscast posted and nothing

both machine and engine is in correct place next to each other just doesn't want to play ball

ok so before i posted about the engines not turning round and managed to sort out by finding out there are multiple wrenches, now i am stuck because now it's same trouble i have all the wrenches . is there a button combination i should be using???

heya trying to build a pump among other things but the engines whenever i place them are facing the wrong way i have tried screwdrivers and wrenches but nothing. Is there something else i am missing? cheers Morro Don't sign your posts.
