Fart Fart Slap Slap View Profile My Doodle Blog Personal Message (Offline) New Report Format (REQUIRED READING) « on: March 05, 2012, 02:17:15 AM » This is the format you should be using to post a bug report. Standardizing bug reports will make it much MUCH easier to make use of them, and to answer your questions. You will not get official support from us if you fail to read this and follow the format. This is information we need. IMPORTANT: When you run into a bug, quit the game immediately or in the case of a crash, do not reopen it. This will keep the most relevant information to the error at the end of the log. When posting bugs for him to look at, please try to keep to this format. Quote from: Bug Report Format Launcher/pack Version: Operating System: Version of Java: Description of Problem: Error Messages: Link to pastebin of log: You can then include any other information you'd like after that, but please post this right at the top. FAQ How do I post logs? You can find a logs in the "logs" folder in your .techniclauncher/logs folder. The most recent log should end in "_0". Copy and paste everything in that and go to www.pastebin.com. Paste the log in the textbox and hit submit, then include the link in your report. I don't get an error message! If you never see an error message, just write "N/A". « Last Edit: March 11, 2012, 04:42:35 PM by KakerMix »

  3. Yeah forgot bout Dynmap I believe its the only plugin where using. Where doing the same thing slowly going through each mod disabling them and seeing if the lag gets better on by one.
  4. Yeah were running no other plugins on the server. We've had drops from quarries and the such before but on a fresh clean world we've never experienced such lag as this. Ever since 2.0
  5. Launcher/pack Version: 2.1.1 Operating System:window7 Version of Java:newiest Description of Problem: Were hosting a tekkit server for our gaming community members and every time we start a server we get alot of lag for a reason where not aware of yet. Weve built up to the point where we've got redstone sorters going where the lag will get so bad well restart server and then as soon as we restart the lag will continue. We know its not a ram issue as our server is a beast. Were wondering if anyone is having the same issues and if its one of the mods and if something can be disabled to end the persistent lag. Error Messages: Our Memory stats: Mem: 16512508k total, 9703028k used, 6809480k free Were actually running 2 MC servers on that machine. Our server I've been receiving overloaded messages when no one is online and after a fresh restart. That's never happened before this version. I would presume this is what is causing the lag. We have ~16000MB. Traditionally Minecraft servers need 100MB per user. With tekkit i would presume double that to 200MB, maybe (but doubtably) could be 300MB per user. So if we do the math there it would be: 16000 / 100 = 160 Users 16000 / 200 = 80 Users 16000 / 300 = 53.3 Users And for shits and giggles 16000 / 2000 = 8 Users (we average around 4 users) So yeah I don't think its a RAM issue when we can dedicate 2 Gigs of RAM per user.
