Antivirus Program: I walked over to a vanilla large chest, opened it, and it caused my game to crash.

This was posted in the wrong forum. Try the technic SSP/Tekkit/Voxelmodpack/HackSlashMine bug forums depending on which one you're using.
Based on the log you posted there's nothing abnormal.

I wasn't sure if I should make a bug report or not. But clearly, I should based on the information given and the trend set by the majority of the users.
Interesting, I survived an encounter as well and I managed to unlock it. I'm guessing its luck based.

Noscript + ADblock plus, awesome addons for firefox if you really hate ads. Noscript is also helpful if you go to sketchy sites.

Alas again, Lord Sourpuss has his elite sharpshooters scattered around the area, if you attempt to fly they will cut you down before you can get too far, your only choice is too walk there and keep to the shadows to avoid them.
