I can't do anything on the Tekkitopia site because I cannot confirm my email address so I am posting this here.

I receive the confirmation but the link takes me to a not-found error page. I have tried 4 times now.

I get the same thing, looking around to see if there's a work-around

Examples show it working as-of 1/13/2013 but I can't find a bukkitforge download for that build.

I presume BukkitForge v1.5x is not going to work with the Voltz v1.4.7 minecraft base - you need a v1.4.7 flavor

I was just looking for status and couldn't find any, am I correct to assume that there isn't any or did I miss it?

Last bit of news I read was that the bukkit team was going to work on the Minecraft code proper and make an API for extensions and mods?
