I noticed this while using the technic launcher, but look at the build on each error message. It goes 1.0.2.0 for the first 3, then BACK to 1.0.1.3. Does anyone know why they reverted the build, and if it has anything to do with this error? I too have the problem that I cannot download any versions of vanilla using the technic launcher. I don't use the vanilla launcher because I want to use 1.3.2 to play on a server, but I cannot get a vanilla 1.3.2 without the technic launcher, now minecraft has updated to 1.4.2 (and now 1.4.4). 3 other things I notice: first, the error seems to be attempting to download 1.4.2 (Downloaded 'minecraft.jar' matches MD5 of version '1.4.2'.); second, it seems to be attempting to download a null file after the minecraft.jar (Starting download of 'null', with 3 trie(s) remaining), which would obviously cause a problem; finally, 2 of the errors, one coming after a null file (deleting minecraft.jar), and another on its own (deleting file1964423576047133670.tmp), attempt to delete a file in the temp directory, and cannot (java.io.IOException: Unable to delete directory \temp). Try deleting the temp directory, then starting the launcher and doing what you did when these errors occurred, watching the .techniclauncher to check whether or not it creates a temp folder itself, and then what it creates inside it.
