So I just went from using Tekkit Classic to the new one, but axes don't seem to work on my new server..
I might be missing something here, but whenever I try to use an axe on a tree, it just gives me the same effect as mining diamond with your hands basically. Any ideas?
Running 1.1.8 btw.

Title: Rendering issues near World Anchors.
Version: 3.1.2
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Java Version: Version 7 Update 9
Description of Problem:
We started having rendering issues on our previous world, so our server host support told us to make a new world. (They didn't have a clue)
After putting down the first world anchor in our new world, my tekkit crashed.
When logging back in, the world had strange holes etc. (Not the typical world holes, _nothing_ gets rendered except for the gradient in the background).
This problem gets worse the closer I get to the World Anchor.
I can't say 100% for sure that they are what's causing the problem, but it seems pretty logical. Also right before I crashed nothing except the backround got rendered.
Pretty much all I can tell you at this point.

So I play on a new server a friend of mine put up recently. Hosted by a minecraft hosting site.
The world started glitching at one point, for most of us, only rendering 30-50 blocks in a radius around the player, so we had to create a new world.
Everything was fine again, untill I put down a world anchor and tekkit crashed.
When I logged back in, I had the same issue as before.
However, the other 2 people currently on the server is not noticing this issue (they have not put down any anchors as of yet). They are also pretty far away from my / the world anchors location.
Anyone got any idea what might be causing this?
I've tried clearing my cache, no good. So pretty sure it's a server side issue.
I cannot comment on console error messages at the moment, as I'm not the admin.
He'll be on tomorrow.

You're very correct in making that assumption. Haha.. I didn't bother to actually try long enough until you said that. I just assumed something was wrong.
Thanks a lot ;)
