I did but where do I put it? Ive tried putting it in cache, temp and the bin folder...

Launcher Version: 1.0.2.5 Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit Java Version: Java 7 Update 9 Antivirus Program: Microsoft Security Essentials Description of Problem: When trying to download a PREVIOUS version of Tekkit it gives me the update failed error after minecraft.jar download reaching 100%, I think it is because it downloads the 1.4.5 instead of the 1.1 jar(i want version 6.0.7 of technic, it uses 1.1). I'm not trying to download the dev build but I tried the recommended build of technic but it still isn't working.

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3 (Latest) Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit Java Version: Java 7 Update 9 Antivirus Program: Microsoft Security Essentials Description of Problem: After starting the Technic Launcher and selecting the modpack I want(Technic) and the version I want(6.0.7|MC 1.1) it downloads minecraft.jar 3 times and then says Update Failed. I dont even have any previous versions of this modpack or any modpack. After that I proceeded to unninstalling every version of Java and installing Java 7 Update 9 (64 bit). After doing that I retried the download, same error. I even tried to install vanilla with the launcher and the exact same thing happens.
